hey i just wanna know if there's any army,navy, etc...men in here. and what they think about the war in iraq?

Ive served in the Military (in one branch or another) for all most 20 years... Iraq is just another job for military personnel, it is what we get paid to do. Its not easy, It wont make any of us rich. Nor will it be the last time we are used. We ask that we get as much support as you can give us, and to get us home as soon as possible. But don't get us home with a job half finished and have to send us back! Lets get it done, right, and be "done with it"

I served my tour in Iraq and saw that we are winning.
The problem is that the news media has decided that defeat will sell more newspapers so they twist the news in that direction.
It was a real surreal feeling to be involved in events in Iraq then see the news give a totally distorted version of those events.
