Let's just say that while on trial, the defendent's been accused of a murder and there is little to no evidence to prove that he committed the crime. Jury finds him not-guilty and he is now free. Sometime after the trial the police find new evidence linking him to the murder which he has been proven in court to be not-guilty for. Can he be re-arrested and brought back to trial for a crime in which he was found to be innocent if new evidence is discovered later?

I was stopped by PCSO's today because they thought I was behaving suspiciously. They took my details, asked a few questions, and let me go. I don't object because they're just doing their job. But can somebody tell me, do they keep a record of the incident and of my name etc. Thanks.

He didn't say I had to pay him back, and what if he says that I agreed to pay him back?? No witnesses really, just the people who were selling it, who probably wouldn't remember us.

I know there are people out there who do respect Police Officers, then there's those who don't. It pisses me off, I mean, its bad enough that their job is dangerous, but they have to deal with bad a** people who always complain. I mean, just put yourself in their shoes, I know I CAN"T last even ten minutes doing their job. I know there are bad cops, BUT, there are a heck lot of good ones. If any law enforcement officer read this post, God bless you, and thank you.

A lot of murderers get out of prison after a relatively short period of time. Yet they can live where they want and don't have to publicly announce their felony. Why do we only know or have easy access to where sex offenders live?

I have a 19 year old neighbor that was imprisoned for having sex with a 14 year old girl. Now he will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. Is this fair? He is put in the same category as men that have raped and killed little girls.

I got my grandson to download a whole bunch of barking dog mp3s and I put them into a big list on itunes on my computer. I play it and turn my speakers up as loud as they'll go and I leave it on when I leave to try and torment my neighbors, because they are loud too, huh? That's mostly why I don't like any of them, it is not because they are fat which is why they think I don't like them.

Part of my plan is that they might come talk to me one day about my dogs being too loud and I can just be all like "what dogs? I don't have dogs" - and by the way I DID ask them to please be quieter, and I brought over cookies when I did it too and they still are loud. But can I get into trouble for this or no?

But the thing is, it was like, 2:30 am and I had a Class D license because I hadn't gotten around to getting a Class C, so I wasn't legally allowed to drive after midnight at all. The cop didn't give me a ticket for that, though, which was really nice. Oh, and the other thing--I wasn't registered under the car I was driving because it was my friend's. He didn't say anything about that, either. Is that weird? Should I just suck it up with getting points on my license and having my insurance go up? I don't really have a strong case, do I? haha

they can't chase you in your house because it is your property and you didn't consent to the search, and they need to let you go.

And if your hands are cuffed behind you, is it legal to get them in front of you?
