It obviously wasn't for personal use, so yes you will get a custodial sentence. Perhaps whilst you are in prison you can reflect on how many lives you could have ruined with your greedy, avaricious 'profession'. Even a category c drug has harmful side effects, the type you are peddling induces paranoia and has resulted in suicide. It also encourages people to steal possessions and money to buy more drugs. Why shouldn't you be punished for this?

Not sure. Maybe because it's becoming more ubiquitous? The fact is it's been an illegal drug for as long as most politicians remember, ergo, it must be bad. Legalising it, regulating it and taxing it would be beneficial to society and in time would probably see a decrease in use - the government could control people's ammount and the rebellious image of taking an illegal drug would be gone. Too much police time and money is spent on a phony war on a drug that is a lot less harmful than alcohol and tobacco.

With today's 'justice' system, I doubt it. As the prisons are full I wouldn't expect you would be doing time. However, this is up to the judge on the day of your trial.
Personally I would sentence you to time inside.
Also, just for information, cannabis is a class C controlled substance in the UK, reclassified in 2003.

oh **** a friend of mine was cought red handed with 5 kilo growing in his house on the raid the filth recovered weed bags scales and his mobile phone he was found guilty for intent to supply sociably he got a bind over try not to worry when pathetic british law sends pedos down for weeks when they mess with kids!it was only smoke but they probably think they got the arrest of the year ...........arseholes

I hope they throw the book at you. Had you been in a Far Eastern country you would have been hanged so think yourself lucky, but if it was up to me , all drug dealers & couriers WOULD get thr death penalty with NO appeal or clemency.

Where are you. In my area thats about 20 - 40 years max. You do 90% of the time before you can even ask for parole.

Don't drop the soap (it's a pain in the ar$e to pick up... literally).

I think the authorities would class that amount as intent to supply and not for personal use, so think there is a good chance it`s the porridge for you.

You can't use the defence that it was for personal use can you?. I expect in today's current climate you will get community service, but don't bank on it.

Id say so yes.Its ok when its for your own use but this amount would probably result in a jail term.sorry.
