they can't chase you in your house because it is your property and you didn't consent to the search, and they need to let you go.

And if your hands are cuffed behind you, is it legal to get them in front of you?

Sure.
And if you close your eyes real tight, no one can see you.

No. If the cops are chasing you and you run into yours or anyone else's house they can come in without a warrant as they are in "hot pursuit".
I don't know if it is legal to put your handcuff hands in front of you or not, but they would not be happy about it and could say that you attempted to escape custody.
Don't run from the police and don't do anything to get arrest and the point will be moot.

Yeah, try that. It's called hot pursuit. The cost will be about $750.00 to fix the front door.

You move your hands to the front, the second pair of cuffs come out and there's a good chance you get hog tied. The reason, ( I'm sure your little brain wants to know) is for officer safety.

Enjoy prison

Nice try, but the police can chase you right into your house. They are in pursuit and you are fleeing criminal. They are not "searching" for anything. they found you already and will come get you. Also, anything they find in your home in plain sight when they run in after you that is illegal, will be another charge. So don't run from the cops and go home if you have a pile of coke on the table! As far as the cuffs, it could be considered escape or resisting arrest. it will also lead to you being hobbled (hog tied).

Haven't you ever watched cops?

Fresh pursuit allows the police to enter your house and apprehend you. Now for the good part, when they arrest you they get to search your immediate surroundings within lunge distance. So essentially you would have just given them a free mini-search warrant of your house.

I don't know if it's legal violation to move your handcuffs up front, but I guarantee you won't enjoy how they move them back (hog tying helps to prevent a repeat of this little stunt as well).

Not true. It's called hot pursuit and they can chase you into your home without a warrant. As far as slipping your hands in front of you when cuffed behind your back, it could be considered attempted escape. I don't recommend it.

they will have probable cause to search you and your house
since you failed to yield to the police in the first place
for felony evading the police plus all the traffic violations they can think of plus what they find in your car and house
(a lot crooks thouggh they could get away by doinng
but right they are spending their time behind bars instead
as handcufffing in front its could be dangerous for police
as some supsets have gotten the officers gun that way
because their hands where cuffed in front
(its for the officer safety when they handcuff behind your back)

No to both your questions. Hot pursuit case laws exist on the web you can look them up. I only cuff in the front for pregnant ladies.

No on both counts. The police are perfectly within their rights to follow you wherever you go, unless it's to a foreign country. And they will not cuff you in front, as that still lets you attack an officer.

No.

Look up "Fresh Pursuit" on Google.

And the handcuff thing sounds a lot like an attempted escape.

No and No!

Why would you be fleeing the police to start with?

Get on the right side of the law and stay there. They could use your help.

Good luck with your life!
