I think a DUI in California is a felony not just a misdemeanor?? what do ya'll think

3rd is a felony.

In Louisiana, at least.

First offense it is a misdemeanor if you were not involved in an accident. After that it can become a felony, I am fairly sure the third DUI/DWI is a felony in most areas now.

i got a dui last macrh in LA COUNTY and they were gonna give me a misdemeanor.. then they wanted to give me an infration
haha then the judge just said CASE DROP!!

my marine recruiter help me out!

im only 19 and yeah i have a record and yup my record is clean now..

but it depends on the case
on how high was you BAC.

First one is generally a misdemeanor traffic offense, the penalties increase after that and vary from state to state.

in vermont it is a misdemeanor.i think after the third one is a felony you have your licence taken away for yrs.
