So, I was in the back parking lot of a drug store the other night doing an exchange(I'm not going to say what it was, but it could be bottles of ozarka water, so please, none of your lectures) with a friend, from my trunk to his. Then we talked for a couple min. and we left. Well, just as we are about to pull out of the parking lot my radar detector blows up and see a cop come up behind me. Well, my friend turns left and I turn right and this cop is following me. Well, I go a block or two, do a u-turn and the cop does the same. So I get in the far right lane and turn right on the red light and the cop just stays there chillin at the red light. So, I am wondering why the cop was following me trying to find a reason to pull me over and is there anything he could have pulled me over for? He was obviously following me because all the twists and turns I did he did too.

I'm being harassed by my ex-boyfriends ex-wife for absolutely no reason. I don't even know her that well! She's sent me an email threatening me and calling me names. I've asked her what the problem is and we could resolve it like adults but she's insisting she's gonna beat my a**. Now, if this continues after I've told her to stop, can my copies of her emails be turned over to the police for terroristic threats? Anyone in law enforcement or in a law area, please help me out. I'm trying to dissolve this issue peacefully, but if all else fails I need to know what my options are.

Are there any stores in or around LA that sells stun guns? I would like to know also how much power in it is needed. I mean if i were to buy a weak one, would it only irritate or enrage my attacker more? Or would they be able to shake it off after a few seconds? I want one that would do more than that to an attacker. Not death but enough to make them hurt and not able to retaliate

I've always wondered..
If a police was going after someone on a street with signals, and a person was standing on the cross walk (lets just say this person was a little..slow..literally..) and the police hit the person. Would they stop for help or go after the other car, who could possibally have a child or anyone. I've always wanted to know this.

He was convicted of misdemeanor drug possesion when he was in his early 20's in Florida. When he submitted a form to the FBI wondering why he was denied they said that his conviction was for a felony and that he was also arrested for cocaine trafficking which isn't true. Obviously somehow they screwed up his records how does he go about fixing them short of hiring a lawyer. By the way if you are going to answer this by saying that he doesn't need a gun anyway, thats not the point and you obviously have a different opinion about it then I do and this is a serious question He doesn't know what to do.

I am sitting here watching Cops, and I was curious as to what they do with the drugs they seize from people. I don't think that they could burn it, or can they? If you want to give a rude answer, keep it moving.

by a hospital, how do you do that? If you just want them to make sure that you're okay, but don't want police and stuff involve, what do you say?

Since the hospital staff have to report anything like that, how does someone who doesn't want to file a report seek medical help? I'm asking here because I can't find a better category, except maybe women's health.

I am 20 years old now and have HS diploma and pretty soon an AA degree in criminal justice. I have about 6 certificates regarding the field and one scholarship given to me by the LAPD. Also I have a President's award from my college along with 3 Dean's List awards. BUT I did do bad things when I was younger. I tried weed 3 times(2001, 2001, 2005) cocaine twice (2005), and meth (late 2004) once. I also got fired once from a job for very stupid reason which did not include misconduct or failure to work well, I was also forced to resign from one for a comment I made of a supervisor, I said he might be gay. I do have a battery misdemeanor which has been expunged and sealed. I was 17 when it happened but I believe it was dismissed because I completed anger management and community service hours. My credit is excellent just a few late payments but thats it. What are my chances??? I also shoplifted a couple of times when I was 17 and 18 but no one knows about it.

ok, before you start calling me a bad driver.

Heres the horrible luck i am in.

I came here for help, so help me.

First thing i did..a month into my license, i got into a car crash, totalled my car.

8 months later, i get a new car.

I back up into someone in a parking lot, barely anything really, but i dented a car, so i had to have my insurance cover their car. (my truck is fine).

then 2 months after that, i get a speeding ticket. (havent we all).. it was for going 30 over the limit. (one of them late at night, no ones on the road).

ok the court date for the speeding ticket isnt til august 8. My mom is being chill about it, because i have the 300 dollars already..(barely).

so...my situation is alll taken care of..because of traffic school im gonna take for the ticket.

...but

..

im down by the beach, i just BARELY roll this stop sign.
a cop on a bicycle pulls me over.

gives me a ticket for loud music, and rolling a stop sign.

see my situation.

what will happen?

help

Thanks for all your answers especially the yanks that have obviously got their heads still stuck up there a..s h...es.most of them cops were bullied at school so they must be hard now.

If you wore your glasses properly you would notice that i didnt say i was driving reckless, and no you cops arnt allowed to speed.
Yes we do need them and yes i would have to use them, but most times they dont turn up for people anyway, apparantly there to busy (and before you say do gooders, they are dealing with a.. h....s like me).
But then again i dont break laws( ha ha tough)

Ive had a really good day today so this is not a rant, its just you ignorant law breaking police that think there gods.

So all you do gooders get on your keyboard and start slagging this one off, or as i said keep looking out your windows.

Any one who agrees im glad to hear it.

As i said who the f... do they think they are.Treat us with respect or go back to being bullied at school..

Someone is on parole for a previous violent felony and now gets hit with a gun possession charge. They own a business, mentors kids, part of the community etc. He has done all of this in 3 years of being home. He was evicted from apt - police say they found a gun in home. His parole officer did not violate him because he has never missed a day of report day and basically he knows he is a good guy however he put him on a 9 PM curfew. The p.o even extended curfew to 11 so he can go to college at night. Now the feds picked up the case because of his previous felony and due to all the gun crimes. It's the same case- nothing has't changed with regards to feds just picking it up as protocol to any felon who possess a gun. Will parole try to violate him for the feds picking it upor is it double jeopardy- how does this work? The federal judge is willing to release him on ROR pending parole's approval.

There was a shooting in a bar near my house; members of a gang were involved. Somebody not involved with the gang was hurt bad and the police wanted to know who it was who fired the shots. Because of the powerful force of the gang all 30 people in the bar, including the bartender says thy don't know who it was who fired the gun. A friend of mine was one of the 30 people so said they had no idea who it was. Can the police legally hold the whole bar as accesories to the crime?

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Last night the self-confessed Al Qaeda conspirator was on his way to join America's most infamous criminals, including the "shoe bomber" Richard Reid, in a maximum security prison known as the "Alcatraz of Colorado." There he will be held in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day 60 feet underground in an 8-foot by 5-foot cell.

"Mr. Moussaoui, when this proceeding is over, everyone else in this room will leave to see the sun ... hear the birds ... and they can associate with whomever they want," she said. "You will spend the rest of your life in a supermax prison. It's absolutely clear who won."

As the Moroccan-born French Islamist tried to interrupt her - as he has done endlessly in the more than four years of court proceedings - she raised her voice and said: "You will never get a chance to speak again and that's an appropriate ending."
