Why was his police driver speeding 91 MPH in a 65 zone? Why was the cop driver texting his secret lover while driving the Governor?

All of these things are illegal and stupid. Don't the leaders live the same laws we do?

i wonder as nothing is changing. i think the illegals are so used to doing whatver they want, that when we do show any enforcement of our laws..they freak out and get all crazy on us and say we're racist. i had a bumper sticker saying "who's using your social security number?" and "only traitors hire illegals" and I got chased around my city by hispanics. i wonder what they would have done to me, should they had had a chance to get me to pull over?

It would save a lot of taxpayers money and there would be no need for police anymore. Also there would be no more people breaking the law so the world would be a safer place...discuss.....

just curious, I know they've harrassed me for literally no reason, (ex, crossing the street with the walk light, etc.), and refused to help find the man who attempted to kill my daughter and I (despite being given the lisence plate and vehicle description of the guy), and it seems like on the news you hear more stories about cops abusing their power than helping anyone, so I'm wondering who else has had bad experiences?
Anyone ever have a good experience?
(been asking around, but have yet to find anyone who has around here - are canadian cops any use at all?)

I see dumb cops with the motive in front of their faces are still spending tax payers money on looking for a motive that most smart people already know what the motive is thanks to the killers message and mass media. It's straight to the point unless your are cop?

Is thier a revenge motive from the department of justice to find someone else to punish for this sad event, sence they cannot punish the dead?

Can someone help make sense of this wasted energy of fighting crime?

My reasons for doing it were family matters so far I have a good record and never been in trouble with the police, I was not charge for this. What would happen if you wrote 2 different checks, come to find out there bad, one for $400 and one for 900? My friend is in this situation, all he got was collection agency's... nothing on the law side as of yet, he lives in Iowa. If he starts paying on them payments, would they stop sending letters? Once and awhile would send them now. What can happen?

I have just been 'elected' fire marshall for my company. (in NYC) I am not sure what this means exactly. What do I have to do? Do I have to take any courses, what does a fire marshall actually do? I ask because this morning there was a fire alarm but my building stays having fire alarms so when it went off all of us stayed put, it doesnt even phase us anymore. As the fire marshall am i suppose to call the main building number to find out what to do or am i suppose to evacuate people. Im so confused and I am chicken sh!t when it comes to fires. As long as I dont gotta play hero, Im fine, lol. Thats for your answers.

In Australia we have the Australian Federal Police. This police force is sent on law enforcement and peace keeping mission overseas like in the Solomon Is., East Timor etc. Is there a similar body in the USA?

First I would like to start off by saying "thank you" to police officers and other law enforcement officials for the work that you do. My question...police chases are obviously dangerous for a mulitude of reasons. However, it angers me every time I see some criminal on TV tooling around in a stolen car with no regard for innocent life or people's property. Unfortunately, this is becoming more common due to soft prosecution (short jail sentences, if any, and repeat offenders not being dealt with appropriately) and because the media "indirectly" glorifies those who flee. Media also seems to thrive off placing blame on the police when uninvolved (innocent citizens) are accidently killed, even though it is really the criminal's fault who fled. What do you feel would be a sufficent sentence given those who flee from police via vehicle, and what else might you recommend to reduce the amount of police pursuits while still being able to do your job of arresting criminals? Thanks.

I parked in a permit parking place without a permit, there was a ticket waiting for me. My question is will this ticket affect my insurance rate? This is my first ticket, I'm so mad. Is there any way I can get out of it? It's only $43 but my perfect driving record is ruined.

The person calling me identified herself as Investigator Banks. I was supposed to call her back at 866.563.7118, ext 7668. I first searched under the phone number, but couldn't bring up anything. So when I called, I just got a recording to leave a message. I read some of the other messages and responses and glad I did. I don't know who these people are but if this is a scam, I'm filing a complaint with the attorney general.
