All I know is that I live in a very good part of town and would have no problem getting what ever I wanted in about 15-20 minutes. Now if I can in a good part of town I have to imagine that it gets even easier the closer you get to those proverbial tracks. So what has the government done but spend $20,000,000,000? $20 billion a year and everyone can still get what ever they want, sound someone is winning.

I'm looking for sources stating what is and isn't legal concerning body kits, lights, under car neons, spoilers, light bars on top (hazard/police), and things of that nature. I live in everett, wa so local laws only, thanks. Also, ride height laws, db laws for systems and exhaust, and what makes a car street legal on not performance-wise.

Today I was pulled over for running a stop sign. The cop said that I had run 2 stop sign's and I was over the speed limit.

It was a 1 lane road and I was following a Uhaul type van infront of me. He didnt stop and i was looking at him and didnt see the signs , i didnt even kknow till i was pulled over.

Anyhow the officer was nice and just gave me a ticket for running 1 sign and a *warning* for speeding (30 in a 25) he did write the warning and the speed in the ticket.

I am young and my insurance rates will spike with the point.I was wondering if i do go to court and explain my case and offer to pay the ticket if they will remove the moving violation for me.

I believe they do and I believe that includes fireman killed in the line of duty. I would like to know the federal legislation authorizing this payment and for what amount.

Today I was driving to class and i was going down a road with a curve on it, now honestly I was going 40 in a 30 so I was speeding. Well when I came around the curve there was a motocycle cop with his lights on standing there (without a radar might I add) and he pointed at me to pull over. Well I pulled over and he walked up to me and in a very rude manor said "I need your drivers liscence" He didn't ask me for my insurance or anything else, he walked away came back, handed me my ticket and liscence and walked off. It said on the ticket that I was going 48 in a 30. I know for a fact that I wasn't. Is there a way I can get the ticket thrown out for the officer not following proper procedure?

I know someone that just had an arrest warrant issued on them. How will this person ever be arrested? Is there like a certain time of the month that cops go and arrest them? I understand they will get arrested if pulled over or something. But what if that never happens?

can anyone pls advice me on how to appeal for speeding fine. i got a spending fine on a A2 road work area. twice within two weeks without knowing(that 6 points on my linsence). its just been placed there cos i've been using that road for the past 3 years.

Does anybody have a greater defense for law enforcement who wait in an alley with their lights off for people to go 10 miles over the speed limit so they can take their money in the name of justice than simply mocking people who say "don't they have anything better to do?" How about actually answering the question (do they have anything better to do?)

I supposedly ran a yellow light that turned red, in reality it was green and turned yellow. Anyway, it was my first offense and my friend [who's been pulled over a few times] told me that her tickets always had an amount to pay. The officer wasn't very clear about anything other than I have to call the Violations Bureau tomorrow before 4pm. It was in the state of Ohio. Does anyone know?

Why do security gaurds and police always talk as if they have an attitude problem?

One would assume that working in the police, they are used to criminal behaviour and yet they still excessivily annoyed about the action the criminal commits.

They all talk funny, a bit like teenagers trying to be cool with thier mates.

They have a tendancy to yell about anything that is not right.

They even seem to have a tendancy to swear or curse and get violent and abusive back.

It is like they love the sense of control they have over criminals?

What do you think is going on there?

I have a friend that is in jail. He has been there for a couple of years and will be there for a few more. I love writing to him but I don;t want to sound too redundant. What can I possibly say to him I have run out of stories and gossip? Is there something online I can copy and paste in the letters like stories or so?

my ex has been harrassing me by instant messanger and claiming things about me that are untrue to common friends of ours. about 6 months ago she also hacked into my email account and read a bunch of my emails and started giving me grief about them. I want to get a restraining order against her but I am not 100% sure yet. Is it smart to contact her and tell her that if she does not stop that I will report her to the police and then get a restraining order against her. Or would that make things worse for me? i would rather not have to go through all this but I am not sure if telling her would help me out or if it would be look at as a threat?
