are just as much, if not more, criminally inclined as the so-called criminals? If so, why? If not, why not?

When they go into a home, why do they make such a big deal out of a homeowner's gun being loaded? Why have a gun in your house for protection UNloaded? What do they expect?

Some poor guy got a £60 fine and 3 points on his license the other day for eating a sandwich whilst driving. No such penalty is applied or enforced for smoking a cigarette behind the wheel ..... which would you say was more dangerous? You can eat a sandwich without taking your eyes off the road, yet to me it seems impossible to take out and safely light a cigarette whilst paying the road your full attention. Yet another money-grabbing police policy!?!?! I swear if they could effectively tax breathing, they would do it.

On March 20th, 07 I was charged w/ 2nd degree burglary, grand theft 400+, and child endangerment. Im a 19 single mother in college. I was with 2 friends and we went to a store and we stole (I had my daughter w/ me) I just helped pack stuff in to a stroller they had (it did not belong to me) and popped of a couple alarms (I don't know if they have that on video) my bail was $120,000 (a family member paid it) and I was out of jail in 12 hours. I did not walk out of the store with any items, my friend pushed the stroller out of the store and the securities chased us out.....we left and about 1 hr later came back to pick up his car and we got arrested by the police.....they guy that walked out w/ the stoller, his bail was $160,000 and remained in jail, went to court 3 days later and was released on probation for 3 yrs. My other friend was also bailed out (her bail was $30,000). Do u think I will go to jail? Should I plead not guilty since I didnt walk out w/ anything? Court on Mar 27

Okay, so i have someone from within the UK area, and i am from another country. I have been getting unwanted calls day and night from this person. I was wondering what the laws are against stalking/harrassment in the UK. And who i would speak to to get something done about this problem. Thank you.

If indeed additional funding is provided to police departments in an effort to address "High Crime" areas within a city, based on that city's level of need, more officers, more overtime and increased police presence, then it should stand to reason that by reducing the level of criminal activity within a "High Crime" area by increased policing that police departments in effect would be cutting there own funding, by eliminating the very nessecity for more officers, more overtime and an increased police presence, and thereby no longer justifing the additional funds or funding.

When you establish the criteria for solving a crime such as a burglary or theft, as 1. Catching the criminal, 2. Returning the stolen property to the victim, and 3. Incarcerating the criminal as to prevent them from repeating offense, what is your local police dept. success rate in relationship to dollars/taxes spent? And are your local police any more or less effective at resolving murders, rapes or kidnappings?

I am going to explain a few things here and would like some constructive feedback. I am going to speak from the heart and want truthful responses please. Here goes:

1. When I go into the police station and speak with the police, why do they refer me to Value Options?

2. I am geniunely afraid of children due to my unborn daughter constantly talking to me and walking through walls. I avoid children completely. So why the frequent rumors, if any?

3. I spend a lot of time in Tempe and walk on foot and also take the bus. I walk nowhere in particular and go visit stores, shops and the internet cafes. I am simply bored and spending money. Again, why the frequent rumors, if any?

4. I do not have a mental illness (to my knowledge) but possibly a mood disorder and frequent anxiety. So why am I in the Value Options system at all?

5. Anything else I forgot to mention or talk about.

Thanks,

Paul

I mean there are some really big murderers and terrorists out there we have in our prisons do you think those ppl should be used as test subjects for all our new inventions, medicines, crash tests, etc. They are going to die anyway we may as well put them to good use.

And forget the constitution for a second what do YOU think.

Today me and all my friends and family had a big get together at Laura's place in Hollywood. When we all went our seperate ways at the end I forgot to give my friend Bren her camcorder back that I borrowed and she forgot to give me my payment that was from somebody else only I was to recieve it through her.

I called her on her cell and told her to meet me on Hollywood & Vine. It's a popular meeting spot. So we did 2 hours later and I gave her back her camcorder in a brown paper bag and she gave me the money that Jesse owed me.

I don't think I got more than a block an a half away when the CHP pulled me over. They said I was being detained on suspicion of trafficking!!! They searched my truck and found nothing.

Now I have a court date! What am I supposed to do? Do I need a lawyer? What is wrong with these people, I didn't do anything wrong. Why did the cop stop me? My friend was also stopped as well and is also in trouble with the law. Did I break the law in any way?
