It's time to play ... LET'S MAKE A DEAL!

Were you the only person involved in the crime? If no...GOOD! Remember that there is no honor among theives, rat out the rest for a lighter sentence!

Know of any other criminal activity where the investigation is still open? EVEN BETTER! Help the DA clear these cases!

Go to court looking very conservative, suit and tie if male, business wear if female, make your "current problem" look like a real departure from your normal life. Juries eat that up! Don't look cocky, head down, a few tears in your eyes ... no smiling! Smiling is bad! Look the part of a normal citizen caught up in an impossible situation!

Was the child endangerment part of the burglary and grand theft? Am I missing something here? Was it "take your kid to work day?" ...or were you just "passing along a family tradition?" Bad enough you are a crook, why bring your kids along?

I agree with the person who recommended skirt/dress and church type wear. Women should not wear pants to court. Also I would recommend being super polite and courteous to the judge and lawyers.

I would also recommend hiring a lawyer, and if you can't afford one, then ask for the Public Defender to be appointed. My dh was one and was a good attorney and many of them are good trial attorneys (often better than the expensive private attorneys because they build up good rapport with the Assistant State Attorneys as they deal with them on an everyday basis).

You need to have this resolved as best you can for the sake of your child and your future, because when you apply for jobs in the future, depending on how this is resolved you may have to put it on job applications or not depending on how this is handled. It could make a difference to your future so please do this even if you made a mistake because your child will have to deal with this also and you have to be the best person and mom you can be now, which requires you to hire an attorney and hopefully not commit any more crimes in the future! Good luck!

It would help to know if you're M/F.
#1 DON'T be late.
Wear business/suit if you have one, otherwise dress very conservatively, no jewelry, hair combed. Don't go looking like you're on your way to a ball game or a 50 Cent concert.
Listen to what your attorney tells you, try to remain poised and not all guilty looking. Chances are you are going to do a plea deal for a lesser charge and get probation, so relax.
The judge will likely ask you some questions. Answer "Yes, your honor, No your honor".
It will go better than you expect.
Remember how you are feeling now the next time you are considering doing something foolish.

So was the experience worth it? (second degree burglary, grand theft 400+, and child endangerment) You probably have a pretty good reason to be scared.

that's the gadget. to procure gulped into it and the only way out is to journey it out. shop your chin up, that's how regulation enforcement works. That prosecutor is out to get a to blame verdict that's their job, you will desire to shop your cool. Any pass you're making would be categorised as some thing, in all risk, so purely shop residing your day after day life and don't do something suspicious. once you're to blame of breaking the regulation you will would desire to stay as much as the implications nonetheless so make peace with your self. that's purely the way the wheels of justice turn you're purely a pawn in the interest do not combat it. Get your self some medical care in case you may. speaking issues out, not purely what got here approximately with reference to the case, can truly help carry your spirits and vanity. Breath. that's purely yet another adventure on your life.

Wear something comfortable. It may be a while before you get to change, and when you do, the clothes they give you will not be very flattering, so go all out on your last day in the free world and dress to the nines!

GOODLUCK!!! I will pray for you!

Just stay calm. Dress professionally. Like you were going to a business meeting. And *always* be polite and courteous. That will do wonders for you in any courtroom.

I've gone to a couple other of your questions just like this to emphasize - DON"T PLEAD ANYTHING - tell them ONLY that you need a lawyer first in order to make an intelligent decision. GET A LAWYER!!!!!!!! and DON'T PLEAD ANYTHING!!!!!!

Conservative clothing - no slacks a dress with skirt in a modest length. Not much make-up and sleek hairstyle. Do not speak unless you are asked a question. Be polite and nice to everyone.
