Ever since I was 4 and watching the Cops and Worlds Wildest Police chases I've wanted to be a police officer. I want to go to Miami. I am currently in the 9th and I plan to go to College Of Criminology and Criminal Justice there. Is there any advice or hints on how to get through college and what to expect or what's going to be the hardest subject that I'll have to work my hardest in?

I am at fault in the accident. The cop offer me a ticket which is a ignorant of the stop sign( that means moving violation) It cost one point. I accept that. Later on, I recieved a letter from DMV told me that I got 2 points. One point for the moving violation and another point for the fault side of the accident.
I just wonder i will get one more point for the accident beside the ticket for the moving violation? Now, I already got 3 points and nearly to be suspend my license. If I reach the line of 4 points, will I get suspended?
By the way, I live in california! Thank you for answering.

These tickets are for pedicab but also traffic tickets. If you have any experience and knowledge, please share with me or answer my question .Because this is important for me. I have an invitation from a university in US for this summer. If you help me, I will be glad.

i got a speeding ticket. the ticket said to pay the fine (which was 150) or go to court by a certain date and time (8:30 in the morning on march 14) i paid the ticket in full on the 14 at noonish online and when i went back to check it online it says case status prior, disposition bail forfiture on 3/14/07. i don't know what that means. any info is greatly appreciated.

Someone stole my playstation 2 off of me a while ago, I filed a police report, there have been 2 hearings he has not shown up to. The detective told me there is now a warrant. Say he shows up for the next hearing, how do they go about getting my money from what he stole from me?

I am looking to see if an employer (especially a government egency) can take your phone off you for security reasons and interogate it's contents such as used numbers, text messages, pictures. Where I work this is a standard practice for persons found on the premises with a mobile phone & i do not think that it is legal.

I was driving my wheelchair equiped van and was not speeding. I have a handicap logo on my license plate and have dark 2% window tint on all my windows which I have a medical waiver from the DMV for. I was heading to the store and this cop pulls out and turns on his lights. I was not speeding. I continued on because I had to go shoppoing and did not have time for what the officer had to say. I immediately called 911 and told them I was on my way to the store and I have this cop behind me that won't go away and I would like him to because he is interupting the flow of my day. The operator put me on hold and contacted the officer. The operator came back and told me to pull over now. I continued till I got into the supermarket parking lot. I told the operator to tell him i'm disabled and not armed and that I do not have time for a stop and chat. I then hung up. I parked in a handicapped spot and preceded to open my side door for my lift. The cop came over yelling at me.

overcrowded prisons,escaping murderers,perverts and child molesters out on "work experience" etc etc etc.I personally am sick of paying my taxes to keep all these dregs of humanity in 3 meals a day(1 more than i have)clothes.hot water ,education.dentists(i can't get one)doctors.hospital appointments(no queue for them)etc etc.

I've heard that odd questions are asked on the police polygraph test. I've heard that one of the questions is have you ever had any sexual contact with an animal? Is this true? Did any of you have this question come up? I'm worried because I did have an incident with an animal and some peanut butter once when I was 16 or 17. I am ashamed .

I received ticket last August for not having valid tabs. I got my tabs right away after the ticket. I was late paying the ticket and received notification that if I did not pay by a certain date I may incur additional finds/ have my lcense suspended. Over the weekend I got stopped and received a citation for driving after suspended. I received no further notification confirming I was suspended and I did pay my fine. I have proof of payment for tabs and the fine. My insurance agent confirmed they were also not notified of the suspension and had they been, my insurance would have been canceled. Does it sound like I will be able to contest this? I do not want to pay to re-instate because that is a plea of guilt and I have an appointment at the DMV tomorrow...
