Sure, it's a criteria to be a criminal to be on the force. They don't take honest people. Try Chicago, although you might have to have a felony to qualify.

There is a good probability that you would not be selected. A misdemeanor is usually not a disqualifier for acceptance, but given the nature of the offense, you may have a hard time of it. Drug offenses usually have a bad stigma when it comes to hiring for police personnel.

You can probably. I've known drug dealers who have made it. I got a 100 on my oral interview which is almost impossible. I didn't pass the background because they said I got married too soon after my last divorce. I wrote the Mayor (L.A.) public safety said they were sorry and four years later invited me to do it all over again. I was already making $5000 over what they were offering me. Too bad L.A., you lost a good potential cop. Maybe you should get that fat liberal biatch off your public safety board. She's been there long enough and wouldn't know about the honor of getting married to provide medical insurance to the kids because no one would have sex with her anyway.
