There were 2 additional cars in front of me in the lane where we were making a left. When the green arrow came on, we all turned exept the car in front of me made a much sharper turn, indended to go in to the left lane, ended up cutting through it, went into the center lane & cut right away into the far right lane. But,my turn was much wider & I went straight into the center lane, placed my blinker & changed into the right. Immediately the cop on the side of the road stopped both of us but the cop let the car in front of me go and stopped me only & gave me a ticket. The cop told me the reason why he didn't stop the other car was because it SEEMED that she was going to go straight into the left lane but changed lanes right after & wasn't very sure if she had made a violation, however he stopped me because my turn was much wider & claimed I went all the way to the right. My question is, would I be able to contest the ticket? Is it possible to show that the cop made a mistake or assumption?
