mtvtoni- what in the world are you talking about? the war has nothing to do with my ex owing child support, and btw, he is EX because he was abusive to me AND the kids, going so far as to aim loaded guns at us. So, catholic or whatver, i cant see staying with someone like that.

File a complaint with the court and leave out the ssn stuff. The judge will ask the same questions you did and he will get answers. Tell him you need him to do his part and do not argue with him. He complies with the court order or take him to court. I am a Father and want the best for my children when I was short on money my ex would apply for welfare and It was my responsibility to pay either way. I would rather pay her direct but when you do not have it you do what you can. I hope he is going to be accountable for the welfare of his kids. My children are a help to me and I am glad I did my share back in the day.

if you already have a child support order in place, then best thing is contact the office who has you case and let them know that you have RELIABLE info that he is working again............as for the other tracing stuff either you pay out the nose for it [which if they paid CS would not matter] or the info is so OLD that it is not worth it..................

Out of interest what state are you in...as certain states is fairly easy to look up certain stuff others VERY VERY hard.

been there done all this so email me off site IF you need a more informed guide.

Regards

Go to your local Child Support Enforcement Agency ASAP and report to a social worker of the problems you are having and get the pathetic spineless wimp to pay what your kids deserve to have. Be firm and don't let anyone convince you to accept less than what you can get.

1. if you state has a child support enforcement agency report it to him

2. take him back to court, and have the court order him to give that info and get a garnishment of his wages

Call the county offices and tell them your situation. Unless he's in Canada or otherwise...his wages can and will be docked for arrearages
