I agree with you. I never buy cigarettes in Cook County. I cross the line and go to Indiana.

Proper daily use of tobacco in it's intended form is addictive and will cause death. Booze and smokes are just as bad and will kill you just the same as drugs. Todd didn't cause teens to switch from tobacco to heroin my dear. That is just plain utter rubbish. The same people that were using before will keep using. As for you, every time you want a 10 dollar pack of cigarettes, put the money in a jar. After a year or two, take that money out and buy yourself something nice. I used mine to buy a rolex and that's a lot better than cigs.

$10 a pack is a lie. Heroin is not cheaper than cigarettes, but the idea that it should be is interesting.

I think these people are missing the point.

Kids get talked into doing 'things' all the time.

Now....Stroger has made it a much easier a decision for them to say "no" to cigarettes because they cost so much and 'yes' to heroin.

How sad is this!!
Why don't these polititions ever think things through?

He didn't hesitate to give himself a $120,000.00 salary as soon as he got into office.

That should persuade people to stop smoking. As far as heroin goes, I understand it's not required to use it.

Tobacco use is drug use. Tobacco is just as addictive as heroin, and should be just as illegal.
