Not calling it a search, but that simply entering is fundamentally a search.

Clearly this is purely hypothetical as you could never expect ALL 200 million or so adults in this country to actually be smart with a weapon. It's a mental exercise.

I know it's time to quit and I've been delaying the matter for too long. I made some stupid mistakes, and im focus'd on trying to get out of the system. They didn't suspend jail time, I cut a deal with the state attorney. They offered that If I pleaded no contest then i would get 18months probation and 50hours community service. Now 7 months in I fail a probation drug test. Positive for THC. I did recieve a felony from my charge. The judge agreed to withold adjudication upon completion of my probationary period. Any thoughts on the chance of me going to jail?

Got caught for Felony Possession in florida last year, been on probation for 7 months. Successfully Detox'd my first test, then passed 2 drug test in a treatment program. Now 7 months in I fail one. What are the chances of me going to jail being my first violation of probation, and the drug only being cannabis.

I need a quick favor from an LEO with state and/or federal jurisdiction. I am totally confused about something and the only way to clear it up and figure out what is going on would be a state and federal outstanding warrant check.

In movies and TV, almost all police cars are manned by two "partners". For the most part, this isn't the way it's done in the U.S. Why is it then common in movies and TV? Is it because it is the norm in larger (more movie-prone) cities (like NY, LA)? Was it a more common policy in past decades? Or is the one-man cruiser a result of stretched police forces?

I'm essentially a Sociology grad student and want to do some reasearch in the prision system in the US. I want to see what if feels like to go to prision from top to bottom. I was wondeing if the state would allow me to live in a cell with other prisions and talk with them. If possible around 3 to 4 days.

With all of the modern advancements in forensic equipment, would blood be traceable in a house after 30 or more years?

Assume that the house has been remodeled at least once in that timeline. The murder took place in an area that once had carpet - but was replaced with tile shortly after the crime.

If it is possible to still detect blood, what technique would be used to discover it? (For instance, would luminol still be used?)

If he cant find a job and has no money, his parole officer kepps telling him he dont care if he is boke and if you dont no go to the anger management program I will put you in jail. Is this right it is not against he law to be broke with no money or insurance. Cant find a job because nobody wants him. What can thiskid do?

i was told by a lawyer that police and the michigan parole departments have immunity. they cannot be held responsible for not doing thier jobs. example parole officer keeps drug dealer on streets after repeatidly violating his parole. parolee killes someone with his drugs and police dont investigate at all. but they arent responsible for not doing thier jobs? does anyone know if this is true?
