As commendable an idea it may seem to help rid the world of a drug dealer, may I also tell you how dangerous a situation this could become. I went to prison for several years for drug dealing, of which I am not proud of, but I am proud that I live my life today with respect for the law and for my community. All that aside, it is not recommended that you put yourself in jeopardy as these people will hurt you or your family. The narcotics team probably is aware of the illegal activity already and eventually these dealers will be caught. If you think that the police will protect the name of an informant, you are very wrong. And without your name and testimony in court the case can be easily beaten. May I also point out that you are no longer anonymous because if you put this on the Internet someone can track it down to you if they really wanted to so you really have already put yourself in the line of fire so to speak. It is a dangerous situation that you might not want to deal with. Let the police do their job and then you will not have to look over your shoulder everyday wondering if they found out you told and what is going to happen next. I would love to rid the streets of drug dealers but truth is.. I love my life. Choice is yours. Just remember that all choices come with a consequence and I wish the best for you no matter what you decide.

Try your police departments tip line. Just keep in mind anonymous tips will not ensure any kind of results. If you want results you need to give the police reliable information. Anonymous information is far from reliable. Check with the detectives bureau or investigative section, they may take a report or information and just not use you as a source.

Call the police from a pay phone and tell them you want to make an anonymous tip, but the is a nasty thing to do unless they are causing problems.

Why don't you get information on drug abuse and deliver it to them? I suggest you try to help them find help instead of putting them into jail where we, as tax payers, have to pay to keep them.
These folks have made wrong choices and need to be helped to make better ones. Jail is not the answer. Education in our schools is the TRUE answer. We need to better inform our children of these drugs and the affects they can have on us.
Our society needs to stop kicking people when they are down and help them to do the right thing in this life.

Do you have an anonymous tip line that you can call? The ones we have here in Indiana give money for arrests or indictments.
