What will it take for them to either make cigarettes and or alcohol illegal again, or to legalize marijuana? Why the hypocrisy?

I am from Georgia and was caught in Dawson County.

The charge is going 83 in a 55 and was recorded by a Laser.

However, this 55 mph zone had just been changed from a 65 mph zone, and I was gunned from 1000 feet away. Also, the cop who gunned me followed my car without lights on for a good 1/5 mile before turning on the lights and pulling me over. All these factors seem a little suspicious to me.

Anyone in law or with good examples of this, please feel free to comment. However, if you're just going to say "man your dumb lol" or "that sux sorry" etc. without making a valid point, this does not constitute an answer and, having been warned of this here, it will be removed under the guidelines of Yahoo!Answers in that it does not qualify as a response to the question.

Thank you all.

What does the recent and not-so-recent history of law enforcement teach us about successfully fighting ethnic criminal gangs? Any "best practices" that should be emulated?

I received a ticket on a clear morning. I was traveling a highway that I haven't driven on before. I was heading to an appointment & was running quite early. As I was driving along the 3 laned highway in the left lane (for a short amount of time) & I saw signs that the lane was ending in 100'. There were a few cars to my right & I figured the lane was going to end soon, so I speed up to pass the cars to my right so I would be able to merge without causing any problems. Right as I was making that decision, a black car (looked like a taxi) roared up to my bumper. I got really scared. I could barely see the headlights. Since I got scared of what might happen, I hit the gas & quickly got over. The car followed me over into the lane & I freaked out. As soon as I was going to get over to the right lane, the unmarked cop car's lights went on, which surprised me, I was 100% positive it was a cab. Ticket was for "65+" in a 55. Was having car problems(fuel injectors were BAD)at the time.

They told this person that, after the 3rd attempt, if he cannot do it correctly they will take him to juvie*this is for underage*.

But for any age, can they arrest you just because you cannot do it correctly?

I mean what if you never did one before. You should be arrested because you don't know what you are doing.

If i have been informed that - 'It was not really all the fault of 'A' - because there was so much 'skulduggery' going on there at that time. My understanding of the term 'skulduggery' - is as - meaning inproper, illegal, underhanded and corrupt. and the officials in question are 'Police Officers'.

I was really dumb for the last 3 years and I did not pay off my tickets. This hurts when you are trying to get a job. I have traffic warrants in Houston and Dallas, and a run in with a state trooper somewhere in Prairie View. I really don't have the ticket information from any of the warrants, and I lost my license about a month ago. How can I find out what I owe, without being arrested?

Basically, I am at a loss to this, and just looking for some help, and/or a point in the right direction. How is digital evidence gathered, not just generically, but are their different techniques for different programmes, ie evidence on outlook, word excel and so on. This question is related to ID theft and I have probably spent 20 hours on it and have'nt got any closer

any advice will be appreciated, this is a serious case. im trying to help my neighbor. her husband cheated on her and when she found out through his conversation with the other one, he beat her 6month pregnant wife and dragged her out of his office. she didnt report because she is afraid, he has posession of weapon. she put a restraining order a week later and police took him out of the house, he's staying at his parents house. she changed the locks but still scared. she took video of the bruises that he gave her but i think she will need more evidence than that, and he wants custody of their 7 year old. she needs to find evidence that he was cheating on her, he also cut the phone service but she'll try to ask for last month's bill. he closed all the bank accounts, and she's living out of credit cards only and the defendant's (husband) mother found a lawyer for her and is paying for it but that is too fishy. she's goign to state attorneys next week and find her own attorney.

80% less muggings, burglaries and murders
80% reduction in incarcerated people
80% savings in Policing
80% savings in court proceedings

*(How did I get to this figures? It's a fact that 80% of prisoners are in jail for Drug related offenses, therefore all other 80% figures derive from this known fact.

How do we do it?... by legalizing, taxing and regulating all presently illegal drugs.
Start voicing your enlightened opinion on the subject and politicians eventually will find it convenient to support Drug Legalization. . Our national security is at stake since Terrorists main source of income is trafficking. Let's do it before it's too late.
