What other kind of dog is there but a K-9? That's like saying an equestrian horse.
A good name for the dog would be Broomhandle Mauser.

Casul wouldn't be bad. Taurus could work, especially if your dog is good sized. I've told my wife that if we ever get another dog (we have two dogs and three cats) I'm going to name it "cat" just to confuse the hell out of people.

If you want to name your dog after a very high quality pistol, Kimber is the name. John C got it right and my son is soon to purchase one. God Bless you.

Its not a gun name, but I think "Dozer" is a cool name for a dog.
