3-4days max. due to overcrowding. your first and last day will be a full day at checking in/out. the other day or two will be spent in general lock-up with all new detainees needing to be classified.

I'm from the other side of the country but I do believe that LA county jail is overbooked. having said that, I have to agree with the poster who says to be prepared to spend 15 days in there. Now that you acknowledge you have messed up, I do hope you will follow through and seek whatever help is available. I'm not going to judge you though. I was 38 years old when I got my license (passed first time) so I had many years of being able to enjoy a drink and then take public transport or a cab. So it was easy for me to keep my promise to myself that I would never drink and drive.
Whichever way you cut it, fifteen days is bearable and hopefully a lesson learned.

I can Believe that this people who are posting comments do not even answer the question. Yes you messed up, yes you are human. Good things those people are sin free and they never mess up. Good for them (being sarcastic). Thank God you did not get into accident. I hope you learn your lesson. For what I know off, you will do 10% of the sentence. The judge needs to prosecute you for certain days but it does not mean that you will do the whole sentence; especially in county jail. County jail is too packed. There are worst crimes that what you did. For example violent crimes, robbery, Gangs, etc.

He has the gold, rules. the wealthy suitable 10 % of the U. S. make the rules, and do not ought to maintain on with them in any respect. basically even as it matches them. guess who else did that??? you may want to keep in ideas a collection interior the 30's and 40's The Nazi social gathering did an identical element, examine ya historic previous. So, NO i do no longer experience sorry for Paris Hilton, i imagine she might want to get her 40 days interior the County lock up interior the final inhabitants with something of the human beings that did little such issues as she did. See how she likes that. Sorry for the rant, I basically hate it that the wealthy in this us of a get to make the rules and keep on with those that they prefer, and disobey those they don't. feels like a particular choose and his friends in California, were given one helluva marketing campaign contribution the following those days.

Twin Towers??? No tellin' just how many days you will actually be doing because it varies according to the # of people who are there. If it is extremely overcrowded & they know some high level criminals will need the space, then the lower level criminals sometimes get out a few days early. Count on doing your full 15! Yet, you could just get a surprise & get out sooner!.....!

15 days minus any days you have already spent in police or court custody. there may be some credit given to you by the county lock-up, but that is at their discretion. check with your attorney or the county officials

You only get time off credit when you work. In 15 days you are not going to get a jail job.
