Law Enforcement & Police - January 2007

I'm 90 days late I made arrangments to pay 100 a month so as soon as I could I sent 300 dls, like 2 weeks ago the checks cleared so I know they got them but they still sent me a notice that I have a warrant for my arrest...I have to post 5000 dls bail? So If I go to the courthouse as they requested will they arrest me? I'm trying in good faith to pay...How can I fix that?

In America, do you have to have a liscense to have any gun, or just certain guns? If its just certain guns, where do they put the limit at? And how do people go about getting gun liscense?

ive been good on probation so far clena everything and alwysa show up, shes a very nice lady, i got re arrested for posession of alchol witch is a violation not even a misdeminor, will i get a warning or what, im very scared let me know please

....there is violence everywhere in the world, but in Canada there aren't as many gun involved incidents in one day as in the States. I felt it was strange to see one gun related incident after the other. The worl has gone mad. Do you feel your gun laws should change? What do think would be best to control these gun related incidents?

Okay I have a brother that is the youngest and he is 14. I am 18 and my older brother is 21. The youngest is out of control. He has ADHA, and is in trouble with the law. None of us live at home expect when we come home from colloge and we hang out with him when ever we can. He is part of a ganag at school and has a 9 mm. My parents tried everything but nothing has worked. He went to bott camp and that just made hime worse. He is n=in trouble with the law. We even tried to shock him with bring him to a jail for the weekend and that just changed him to not get in trouble tith the law. Does any one have any ideas to help all of us out.

it costs thousands of dollars to paint each police car it also costs a great deal of money to paint police buildins and to give cops uniforms couldnt this money be better spent on getting more police to protect our neighborhoods or giving current police raises or better ongoing training

If you are victim of a violent crime can you find out who is seeing the offender in prison? Also can you go and get a whole police report if you are a victim?

My son disappeared for a few days and Icouldn't stand it anymore and reported her missing,anyway I broke down on the phone so,they camemover to check up on me,and said i could call anytime and they would come over and have a cup of tea and talk for a while,

Can we honestly expect alcoholics to make good decisions? Thats like asking a "crack head" to not use too much crack when its heavaly available. The government classifies them both as having diseases, but they're thrown in jail instead of recieving help. I think it's an easy way to pay for law enforcement, and thats why nothing has been done.

Can someone please help me find out how I if or push to get the case to trial? A child was killed in this accident and the driver that ran the red light has had nothing done to him accept sit back and collect insurance money. No will even tell me if he is legal. Does anyone know what I need to do to get this case persued and to trial. He needs to stand trial for what he did. I need a phone number anything! Anything! Anyone! Help me. PLEASE!

Last night I was clocked 58 in a 40. When the officer told me this I didn't disagree but i didn't think i was over 18 mph. He started talking to me and then told me if I took a field of sobriety test he wouldn't write me a ticket. I took it and passed of even though i did have a drink or 3 it was all good. He just wrote me a warning and left. Has a cop ever let you go 18 over?!?!? I'm still amazed i dont have a ticket today.

"The department has located her whereabouts & that is all I can tell you at this time. She can contact you if she wants to tell you more". Is this their way of saying that "she" is in protective custody? This was the reply I got one week after filing a missing persons report on an adult female who had been involved in many violent episodes & I was concerned for her safety. She just VANISHED! Not in jail or hospitals locally. Any ideas as to why the local Police would say this & give no info? Witness protection, perhaps? She left all of her personal belongings in her room---abandoned!
