The idea has it's pros and cons, but the biggest con that comes to mind is that some left winger would scream that it was big brother and that they didn't want the general public to have that kind of access to criminal information. Thats also not taking into account that during the course of our duties, we run alot of driving and criminal background information that can;t be broadcast or especially re-broadcast. Peoples personal info would be out there, and that would be bad. Thats thinking outside of the box, A for effort. Even if you were trying to take a shot or two.

Yea thats really smart. So some crooks casing a bank for robbery would know when the cops leave the area?

I'd rather see a camera in every school classroom in the US, so we would know when some leftwing teacher was forcing her ideology on her students. And it would take the liability off of the honest ones.

Sounds ok to me... but you would have problems with violation of privacy issues. Not all content is covered under the freedom of information act for obvious safety reasons.

I like having cameras with recorders in the cars. Live broadcasts sounds like a lousy idea.
