No you cannot find out who is visiting the offender as it is none of your business as far as the prison officials are concerned. Every person on the offenders visitor list is checked out before they are approved for visitations.
You can and are entitled to a copy of everything pertaining to the crime reports and even to the trial transcripts but you will have to pay for them just like everyone else. The transcripts are not cheap by any means so prepare to spend some money on that.

Most places can only give you page 1 the coversheet of a police report. This has the victim info, etc. where it happened. I always thought this was bogus that you could walk in pay ten bucks and get the victims info. At least the state got smart and quit requiring us to put social security numbers on the page 1.
As for finding out who visits a bad guy in prison, good luck, privacy laws probably shield the visitors.
Sorry to hear anyone victimized, it was the thing we always saw that didn't get into the court room.. There wasn't blood splatter, etc. in the photos that actually showed how bad a scene was in person.
And when we had good photos of the victim, or crime scene sometimes they were deemed "too prejudicial" and the jury never got to see them!

As long as the case is still under investigation, you will only receive the cover sheet. Once it has been disposed of (in court) it will likely be possible to obtain the complete report.
It is not likely that you could obtain the visitor list for an inmate, but you can't be penalized for trying!(as long as you're not breaking the law)
Contact the department where you filed the case and complete an open records request for your case file. While you're at it, do an open records request for any incidents ( a summary) on the offender in your case. You might be able to get that, but it likely will not give many details. At least you'll have some idea of what he/she's into and possibly some associated names.

Yes you can get a police report if you are the victim. I doubt you can get info on who the offender is chatting it up with in prison. Even though they are in prison they still have a few rights.
