so me and my husband are going through what looks like is going to be a very nasty divorce. Last night i had to stay in a hotel and he in turned locked me out of the house. i don't have a key because we always use the garage but he cut off the power. So anyways i'm figuring out how to get at least some of my things but he told me since i am hurting him this bad he will tell the investigators that i smoked crack and all this stuff just so i won't get my TS. I am currently under investigation, they just started it. can he really tell them stuff like this and have it prevent me from getting my clearance? I never have done anything in my life and i put that on my application that i am and always have been clean. he is just trying to find a way to "get even" i guess. I don't know who i should tell that he will probably interfere with the investigation or if his word vs. mine is enough to prevent me from receiving a clearance. please let me know if anyone has any information on this, thank u

The prisons are overcrowded with drug dealers and users. But murderers and rapists are often parolled if they get sentenced at all. Our judicial system sucks.

According to DMV, you can drive in VA without insurance as long as you pay the Uninsured Motorist Fee of $500 a year. Has anyone tried doing this and if so, does this only cover you the driver or the car you are using? How does this work? Is it really legal?

I want too join the sheriff dept but i did weed like 6 times in 2003 and cocaine only once i just tasted it and sniff just a lil bit do you think i may still have a chance of getting hired also i am earining my BA in criminal justice in about 3 months will this help me? also 1 more questions if i quit 2 jobs will this prevent me of getting hired please post answer

I had a car accident 2 weeks ago. The car in front was watching hwree she was going, stopped suddenly, i braked as soon as but wet road. Hit her from behind. Very tiny impact as had almost made it!! I know from an insurance point of view this is my fault but what the police....can i we prosecuted for this. i was driving 15mph on a 30???

I was in a car accident on october the 7. I had no insurance at the time. I was hurt i fractured my hand, couldnt drive nor work. This past monday i finally got my cast off. Two vehicals were involved including mine. On the police report one of the drivers said i past the stop sighn and i only got a ticket for no insurance. I disagree, i didnt pass the stop sign. There was a park working van blocking my view and im pretty sure also the other drivers. i was at that stop sighn for almost 2 minutes. From what i saw i was clear both ways. Why would i pass the stop sighn thats suicide. I know why didnt i have insurance, i was going through rough times. So now im getting letters from their insurance saying i owe them 16,000 dollars. Im 23, single mother, self employed no bank account. So i need advice anything will help. THANK YOU
