sure you can. where i am from there is one cop who got busted for 10 pounds of weed and then they still let him become a cop. I dont think a misdemeanor charge would stand against you with it being to old anyway. I am happy for you that you have changed your life, and wish you all the best with the future. good luck.

can you apply? yes, but I would not do so until the warrant has been resolved. even then, application acceptance would depend on what the misdemeanor was for. check with the LE agency you are applying to for requirements.
