I was recently the victim of cheque fraud and received all the cheques to have a look at. The signature on them was all capital letters, all individual whereas mine is just a squiggle....

With this the bank had no choice but to repay me the money. My question however is I still have all the interest charges in the account and I cannot pay it back, but the bank are insisting that I do. Surely if the bank accept that the cheques were forged n I was eventually not liable for the money then they should not hold me responsible for the charges that this built up?

I joined my boyfriend at his friends Christmas meal on thursday in a restaurant in East London- (a curry house with no alcohol license- I did not drink). I took my camera along to take pictures for them, but in the end another friend had a camera, so I didn't even take mine out of my hand bag. I left my bag unattended once when I went to the ladies, but it was at a table with 8 of his very close friends. We then caught a taxi, a tube, a train and a bus home. I have discovered today that my camera is gone. There is no doubt that it has been stolen, but where from I have no idea. I have checked my insurance details and I am covered for personal items. I need to tell the police to get a crime reference number, but I don't know whether to just pin point the theft to either the restaurant ( who say they don't have it) or on the train say. If I'm too vague, they may just say I lost it and not give me the number. I don't want the insurance company to wriggle out of this. Any ideas what to do?

My friends and I just got busted for pot the other night, and I was wondering what we could be looking at, if the court even decides to bother with our case. We had two pieces and <1 gram of pot on us.

I'm not being threatend but i made it clear that i no longer wanted to make contact with a particular person. the contact stopped until recently. from what i hear the cops are only gonna get involved if i get threatend or bashed in the head. I'd really hate if i had to end up missing in order for the police to become involved. So do i absolutely have to be threatend in order to get a restraining order?

Does anyone think the UK should adopt an Adolf Hitler style of government?
Does anyone think the uk should adopt an adolf hitler stlye of goverment this would stop any anti-social behaviour terrorists and act as a deterent for any acts of all sorts of crime and terrorism, without death camps and mass extermination of humans because that is wrong. A SS guard instead of the police instead of councillers would be better.

While Gaining 15+ Dollars per hour of Tax Payer Money + all the benefits + the Well Beaten Cruiser they Beat Up we pay for + the Pollution from Sitting in a Running Car for 6 hrs. + blah.....

Is it Entrapment if they get you? And also this. Is it Conflicting Interest for the Judge of your State to Handle the Case. Your State Collects the Money. Like you can't go to the jail your father works at cause it is Conflicting, Or the Judge Cannot be related to you in any way. What if the judge works for the State? And the State is out to get you. Or if the Cop knows the Judge Well. Do you really get a fair Trial? By reading up Threads and Post all over the Net Not Even a Jury can give your Fairness? Now What?

Just all funny to me.

Lets hear it you bashers.

I dont want to know because I want to do it! I want to know because a friend of mine found out her sister and her boyfriend are doing a "drug that is untraceable". He is on probation for selling marijuana so Iguess they have resorted to this drug, I am just wondering what it is. I am not too familiar with things of this sort.

I was in a fender bender. Without even examing the skidmarks layed down by the other car, the North Charleston (SC) police officer immediately held me at fault with the answer 'You were changing lanes, it's your responsibility.' She didn't bother to examine the skidmarks layed down by the other vehicle. She pretty much immediately put it on me. Do I A) Plead guilty and explain I simply did not see them until I was in the lane during change, despite having looked, and can that reduce, or is pleading guilty automatically accepting the fine. Or, B) Plead not guilty, explain the officer didn't bother to examine or measure the skidmarks layed down by the other vehicle, let alone even walk over to the actual impact spot (we pulled off the road.) I don't want to waste time going to court if I'm not likely to see it dropped/lowered from 250.00, but if I go, am I best served w/ guilty and explanation, or not guilty?
