While Gaining 15+ Dollars per hour of Tax Payer Money + all the benefits + the Well Beaten Cruiser they Beat Up we pay for + the Pollution from Sitting in a Running Car for 6 hrs. + blah.....
Is it Entrapment if they get you? And also this. Is it Conflicting Interest for the Judge of your State to Handle the Case. Your State Collects the Money. Like you can't go to the jail your father works at cause it is Conflicting, Or the Judge Cannot be related to you in any way. What if the judge works for the State? And the State is out to get you. Or if the Cop knows the Judge Well. Do you really get a fair Trial? By reading up Threads and Post all over the Net Not Even a Jury can give your Fairness? Now What?
Just all funny to me.

Cops get away with all kinds of shady crap . they get around obtaining search warrants by claiming probable cause which to me ids a crock of pure Bull. They lie through their teeth in their reports and always make things sound worse than what actually happened and get away with it. They can change any statement they make But if a defendant does that the court tries to bust him for perjury. Seems to me we have 2 sets of laws 1 set for the politicians judges and cops the other for the rest of us, What can ya do? We are screwed right from the start

Entrapment is defined as a police officer potrays to you that it is ok to commit a certain crime and then when you do arrests you for it. THAT IS ENTRAPMENT. And as for judges. It's hard to tell. Voters elect them into office and I guess we just have to trust the fact they will make a decision based on evidence not relationships. I know a lot of judges that hate some of the cops that work in their county.

Yes to the waste of gas or fuel. yes if your an average citizen, but no if you children in the car UN-buckled and on a busy part of the road and your not paying attention to others around you or just came from a bar & had one to many drinks and are impaired.
But if this person is out & over doing it then this sounds like entrapment and hopefully they are not running the car,eatting donuts and not listenning in to their police radio but are amazing themselves to the pretty guys & girls and that but if their warnning people and seeing to things then finallyits worth the wait on the side there! TTYL

Police are paid to, for one thing keep a section of Highway safe,
setting and watching is just one way. In my area, we need more
troupers out You know the speed limit, so just drive according and you'll be better off. As an x-trucker, one thing I learned was
a good study safe speed will get you there just about as quick and you'll be more relaxed at the end. So the next Cop you pass
setting watching as you pass by, just give him a salute thank
your blessings he's there.

not entrapment....all the people they are NOT pulling over while just idling and 'wasting gas' are NOT breaking the law. If all they did was sit there, then their supervisor or chief would make them validate what they were up to....but law breakers being what they are...it usually doesn't take longer than 5-10 minutes for them to find SOMEONE to ticket!!

When I lived in Ohio that seemed to be there favorite locations, especially churches. As long as they have permission, they can point that radar gun from any location. After all, Ohio has a 0% crime rate and the biggest priority is going after those speedsters and especially those drifters through stop signs and running yellow lights. Ohio surely is the heart of it all. ;-)

It is not entrapment. If you are breaking the law, then you must pay for it. Our Police need to do that more often if you ask me.
