Does anyone know who commissioned the inquiry that has apparently cost £4m (and reached the same conclusion a French court that had a legitimate interest in the matter did in 1999), and was it worth the money to demonstrate that the conspiracy theorists are just that - theorists?

Should I be worried? He never left his car. He took pictures of my house from inside his SUV. No signs on the side, so it didnt look like an official vehicle unless it was undercover.

I recently was given a speeding ticket in Ventura County CA. I am from Vegas and have Nevada plates and drivers license. My first name is just one letter and I have a normal middle name. The officer put my mddle name as my first and my first as my middle. I have not had a ticket in 15 years and I will be in Cali agian when my court date hits. I was just going to pay the fine and have the points go on my record because my company owns the vehicle and thats my only transpertation so I dont carry my own insurance. But if I can get out of the ticket I would spend the time to go to court if I had a chance that I could get out of paying the fine. What do you think?

I'm a senior in highschool, next year I will study criminology in Uni. I was just wondering if any women out there find becoming a police officer hard, how the job takes a toll on family, and most importantly: DO YOU KNOW ANY WOMEN ON THE K9 UNIT!??

I love dogs and have always dreamt of becomign a K9 officer; however, I've heard from a K9 guy that the testing to be in the unit is really hard, only about 1 in every 20 K9 Officers is a woman...

my step sister, her boyfriend and their son live in the uk.
they have been in rented accomadation for over a yr now, without a tenancy agreement, landlord refuses to give them one.they pay their rent every month, but have gotten behind.they have no proof of paying rent because they have no rent book or reciepts, they have got behind a couple of months rent, and the landlord said to them today that they will be out before christmas if they dont get a loan or something to get the money together.theres no way they can do that, they are on a very low income.i understand they have squatters rights and that the landlord must still get a court order to get them out, but where do they stand if he makes his way into the house?they just need to stay in the house till just after christmas, and are happy to go in a bed and breakfast for a short time after christmas but they dont want to ruin the 2 yr old sons christmas by moving before in a b&b. is there any hope to stay put till new year? plz help.

I dont understand why people are sentenced to like 100, 200 years in jail and they are like 50 years old. What difference does it make, why do they do that? And maybe half the sentence goes away but still 50 years out of 100? 50+50= your dead! Why dont they say Prison for life??!

Theres no way to avoid him because he waits at the same bus stop. Please help!

If you are sentenced 2 jail time by the court, but you have a serious medical condition that they are aware of, how would u go about getting a longer stay to complete your medical tests, etc?
Kidney cancer is the condition.

Recently my boyfriend and I have fell victim to someone elses dumb mistake. We had a storage unit which contained not on all of our household goods but many non replaceable priceless personal items. Unfortunately, our unit was accidentally auctioned off in a public auction. It was done because of an employee who failed to make documentation (so were told) of correspondance between myself and the storage facility. There for rendering our belongings as abandoned. We are just devistated over this. No one can ever replace many of the items, not even with money. We had well over $30,000 in household items that are now gone. What type of attorney would I contact in order for legal recourse?

It is always more complicated than just slow down. It was all simple speeding. No DUI or Drugs, or Even Any Wrecks. Now I can't drive. How could one possibly pay? Should the Law be Just Pay the Fines and Keep your License? Otherwise, what then? States get the money regardless if paid or not VIA Collections and State Reimbursements I think? Now What?

Our police system wastes alot of time and resources on COLLEGE PARTY PATROL. Wouldn't their money be better spent on catching drug dealers? I could care less if there are college students drinking.

I have repeatedly been pulled over for simple speeding like 62 in a 55, 74 in a 65 never over 80 was I given a ticket. All for passing Inexpierenced drivers or ignorant ones at that on the Open Interstates. Initially, I lost my license for that, and when I was pulled over and informed of the loss of license the cop took my license, said he was turning them in and he retired, with my license dumped off in the trash can. I served the time, but got NO CREDIT for it. Then, pulled over again. Burnt. Driving under Suspension. After this point it doesn't matter what you have done as your driving without a license. I was pulled over for an Air Freshner hanging on the rear view. All cause either I was late, TRAFFIC CONTROL and SPEED WAS POOR, just passing someone to get out of there thoughts... It all has become BS Now. Now Fight or Flight comes into play as I Attemt to Elude them always. So now, should I fight for my rights of Security for the Family, or let them collect money on me

Locked briefcases, footlockers, etc. Does Chadwick apply here? I think Wyoming v. Houghton is the better case - it says you when you have permission to search, you can search any container that could contain what you're looking for. Am I right about this? Is there an actual Supreme Court case that says this?

POSTED THIS IN THE WRONG PLACE BEFORE

People keep on saying that things should be harder for people in jail. People are always looking for stuff like smoking, TVs and sports to be banned and going on about good food, clothes, medical care. Doesn't everybody deserve that?

Do people who haven't been there not realise how bad and boring it can be. I know that for me being away from my family and friends was tough enough and you are locked up and told what to do and when to do it - so why do some people want to make it even worse? Treating people badly only makes things worse.

I know I'm biased because I've been there but still.
