You must have the ability to completely control your body or have a good understanding of the law

What the lie detector does is monitor your heart, pulse. breathing etc. When you lie your heart and pulse beat faster and your breating gets more rapid for a short time. These body variations is what the machine detects and registers these findings to the analyst.

I have seen a lie detector beaten twice

1. the subject had a tack under his foot inside his shoe. When the crunch question came he pushed down on the tack which made his brain/body focused on the pain "then he answered" with no body variation to be detected

2. The lie detector findings were taken to court and thrown out because the analysis of the variations were not seen as conclusive i.e. thinking of a naked woman could have a similar affect on the variations

Good luck with yours ;)

Remember pass is not perfect.
Answer questions honestly that you can
If the question is vaugue - ask them to clarrify
They expect certain marks agaist you.
Ever broke the law. "Hell yeah , I was speeding on the way here just did not get a ticket."
Every question can have many answers. The downside is the straps tend to be too tight on the arms and chest so let them know if you are uncomfortable, if the test lasts more then say 45 minutes.

There are two schools of thought on this, and there is no guarantee that either would work.

1. - Convince yourself that whatever you plan to lie about is true. Keep doing it over and over again until when someone asks you, there is no doubt in your mind.

2. - Squeeze your toes as tight as you can when you are telling the truth, and relax them when you lie.

Good luck lying!

You seem whacko and incoeherent enough that a polygraph would not get any sort of normal reading.

Refuse to take the test. The whole process is only a form of interrogation. No machine can detect lies...only certain body reactions. Don't take the test, don't even talk. It's your right.

Don't try to trick the machine, you're going to loose. The best best way - is to: TELL THE TRUTH MAN. OR - Don't listen to the Question. Repeat - YES & NO. LOL.

You pass it by telling the truth, or being such a psychopath that you believe your own lies.
