Ok how do I stop this guy from harassing me its been 6 months since I stoped talking to him and about 9 months since I saw him we dated for just a short time about 2 months.
He will not leave me alone for the first couple of months he harassed me non stop writing me emails, texts, calls, and trying to show up at my work and house. He finally stoped and now all of the sudden he's doing it again. He sends me emails at work and textes me. I want him to stop. I want to know how to? I dont want to go to court cause then we would be in the same room together but I want him to know Im serious and he needs to stop. Can a police officer go to his house and tell him to stop with out a court order? How do I block his emails at work?
I know this is alot but Im scared that he will try to hurt me!

NJ

I recieved a speeding ticket for inadvertantly going 43mph in a 25mph zone. The flow of traffic was similar and I was simply attempting to pass the adjacent car in order to go on my right lane and turn at the upcoming light.

I drive through the area daily and knew that my usual route was detoured due to construction. I took a different route (Broadway) and ended up getting stopped 1/2 a block from my destination.

The officer has written "780 Broadway" and I had NOT driven through that area. In fact, I had turned onto Broadway in the 730-740 area and was stopped around 575-585 Broadway. 4 Blocks away from where i had turned, and 5 blocks away from "the location of the offense"

Would I be able to dispute this fact in court?

Oh my! I just bought The Daily Record (scottish paper) And on the front page, it says around 350 prisoners will be allowed leave from prison this christmas to spend time with their family. Including a double baby killer and a terrorist plotter.

Whats going on with this. Surely when you get sentenced to jail you should stay in jail. I wonder hown many will commit another offence whilst out for the jolly season. **watch this space**

Oh and i think ill stay indorrs this xmas, with my doors locked !

Last week i was pulled over by a state police officer. The officer came to my window and asked for registration and insurance. I didn't have them current. At no point in time did the officer inform me as to why he had pulled me over. After he found that I didn't have current info, he told me he smelled pot. He went on to search my vehicle and found a pipe and a piece of pot the size of a penny... literally the size of a penny. He gave me tickets for not having current info and for possession of pot under a ounce with paraphernalia and also towed my car. My question is, since the officer did not inform me as to why i was being pulled over, does that violate traffic stop procedure and give me a good standing case in court to have the charge of possession dropped on a count of illegal search and seizure or some sort of procedure violation? I would be willing to take the consequences for my actions but I feel exercising my rights is only fair and also since the pot is used only for migraine head aches (obvious by the amount found) I feel the judge may have some sort of leniency toward me... what do you think? Do I stand a good chance in court?

Thanks in advance. Needless to say, 10 points to best answer!

On this link it says Crime Scene Unit. Does anyone know how I could get a job in the NYPD Crime Scene Unit? Because it is under the "Detective" Bureau, does that mean I have to become a detective first or something? I don't get it!

Here in the UK we have to pay an annual fee called Road Tax otherwise we are not allowed to drive a car on the road,I have heard there is a similar system in the States, which has something to do with the number plate on a car,can you tell me what this is,and is it a good system.
The reason I bring this up is because I was watching a real life Police show and the Cop said the drivers licence plate was out of date.

My "roommate" and I got into a fight in which she tried to stab me with a knife. I called the cops, but I didn't want to press charges. The police pressed charges anyway and charged her with aggravated assault. I would like to know what is going to be done to her? I really dont want her to go to jail.....

Last time I heard was the British army was considering the replace their SA-80 A2 for the reliability issues. They said the U.K. will choose the new weapon on the year 2005 or so.

Did they adopted a new weapon? If they did, what do they have now?

I heard they are thinking of choosing either HK G36, Colt M16 A2, and FN F2000.

Some people in 'answers' make reference to politicians paying for our services, can I say politicians pay for NOTHING !. We the taxpayer foot the bill for every scheme they dream up. Correspondent 'THE BULB' thinks Red Ken has spent millions on London Transport including using the police to catch fare evaders, where do these people get these ideas from. Once again for the slow learners the taxpayer pays for everything by one means or another. People like Gordon Brown only tighten the tax screw on us.
