There is "no difference". The United States Park Police are a law enforcement agency and are part of the National Park Service. Park Police work in the "urban areas" of the park service and Law Enforcement rangers patrol other parks such as Yosemite, Yellowstone, etc. etc. Park Police work in 3 primary areas. To be a conservation officer (park police) you have to be a cop.
They have it pretty easy, I started as a seasonal maintainer in a state park before I got my permanent position in the agency.
