because it involved a kid the decision to prosecute is already near enough made, so it wouldnt matter if the kid didn't want to complain.

Your mate could go to jail but that to be fair would depend on the injuries sustained, and other mitigating factors such as provocation, was alcohol involved? at the lowest end of the scale if he uses an early guilty plea he could get a third dicount of his sentence in the UK, I think he will most likely get a suspended sentence and maybe a curfew if alcohol was involved, he could also have to pay compensation.

I'm presuming your friend is taking some legal advice, if he isnt then be a mate and make him call a solicitor, this is very serious and could result in a custodial sentence if handled incorrectly.

Silly Billy. Thats cute. When he goes to jail he can tell everyone he's a silly billy then lets see who gets their butt kicked. And did silly billy beat up a girl. Silly Billy should of walked away from the 15 year old. Just because Silly Billy was provoked doesn't mean he can whoop someone. Silly Billy

Well, I am 13 years old and most of the time when its come to fighting i am always at fault. Why, because in most cases "the person that lifts his fist on another person is often the one at fault". At first I did not believe this and so I had to learn this the hard way. Your friend may or may not go to jail but from the way i see it, There is a 50:50 chance. So what your friend needs now is support to fight on.(Meaning Persevere not actual fighting)

Well he will probably get arrested if the kids parents choose to press charges on the kids behalves, now the amount of trouble he gets into will be determined upon the provocation, and the amount or pain he inflicted on the kids. Being an adult doesn't give you the authority to hit when provoked. Defend yourself yes, beat someone up? NO! He might get a small fine and appear in court.

The grownup did the wonderful element by calling the police and combating the combat there formerly anybody might get heavily injury. For the main area, the 5 year previous needs to be someplace greater sturdy - far flung from this violence assaults and non violent sturdy section. it quite is not wholesome for the little lady to be someplace to confirm fights and in step with risk additionally be abused by somebody else. teenagers these days / falls, gets scratches and bumps , yet i'm undecided how undesirable the scratches and bruises are. The 15 year previous can flow to jubie penitentiary /place for youngsters - like penitentiary.

HMMM, 25 year old fights 15 year old. Jail and or fine are appropriate. Sexual choice is relevant if it was a perceived hate crime. Good defense though. I'd be more worried about brothers, father and gangs of friends if I were him.

I hope so. He'd deserve it. "Provoked" is just an excuse for "can't control your temper". It's one thing when you're both 12 years old and don't know any better. If some fifteen year old punk tried to "provoke" me I surely hope I'd have the cajones to walk away and not be weak and succumb to my anger.

The parents will probably press charges. I would, if it was my fifteen year old.
Yes, I know they're mouthy. My sixteen year old came home from a club (he snuck out) and I could read the size of the shoes that kicked him. I didn't press charges because we didn't know who did it and also, he is a mouthy. But if he had been more badly damaged, I would have taken it further. And then it's GBH.

He has to pay for his actions!

He probably enjoyed giving the wee guy a kicking so now he has to pay the price for it! And being provoked is no excuse for beating someone up!
