When I person harasses another on the internet, isn't there a federal law saying a restraining order may be obtained to stop the harassing? What is tha law's code number? Who does a person file a complaint with to get it stopped when the two persons live in different states?

What if the perpetrator of that crime, which you witness, regularly hangs out with other neighborhood folks and a neighbor that lives next door to you?

Would you keep your mouth shut in fear of retaliation that could harm you and your family?

These are unfortunately young black men, in their early 20’s, who hang out all day and night leaving one to wonder if they have or go to jobs.

You know Saudi Arabian women and other muslim women who are fully covered, their faces too, when they travel, do they show their face at the passport control? Does the passport show their face? There was an issue recently about Turkish women getting a passport with a scarf covering their hair, but this is nothing, I mean others cover even their faces and eyes. So what happens? I am not asking your opinion on what should happen, I just want to know what actually happens? Do you know?

I was speaking to a friend of mine the other day, and she asked for my suggestions, but I didn't know what to tell her.

Apparently, one of her neighbors noticed sometime last month that someone had put an extra bag of garbage in his garbage can after he put it out on the curb the night before. It's really no big deal--we all do it in my neighborhood, as well. The only really noteworthy thing was that he noticed the whole bag was full of empty cold medicine boxes. On a whim, he checked the following week, and there was another bag. He put the word out in their neighborhood for people to watch for it, and apparently everyone has been getting a bag in their garbage; so far, people have brought him over 50 bags. He opened one, and it was full of Sudafed-type medicine boxes, all different brands, and the bag he opened had almost 150 empty packages in it.

They called the police, but the police won't do anything; they didn't even take the bags. Who should they call for help?

the situation in LAX past 24 hours, i think it is right that they are increasing security but i dont think that all these new prescriptions and methods of not habing a juice or a hairspray on the plane are going to help against a bomb threat, i mean if someone wanted to blow a plane up i think they are going to use a bomb not a pepsi

In California, I've only seen CHP pull people over on the freeway. If I was speeding and a regular cop, city police, or transportation(e.g. BART) police showed up, should I worry about getting a ticket from them?
