They did plan to bomb, not sure if it was gonna be on the anniversary or not but do they really care? they would bomb in the blink of an eye..They haven't got a conscience.

Airport security for US commercial aviation is at Orange, not Red, except for flights originating in the UK and flying to the US.

There, apparently, plans to detonate explosives on up to 10 airliners flying from the UK to the US, so not really bombing "us".
Also, it was not intended to be on the anniversary - rather the news currently being leaked by US law enforcement is that test flights were apparently planned for this weekend, and the real thing would happen a few days after that - in other words before the fifth anniversary.

One report said it was to be done today and another said on the anniversary of 9-11. It was suppose to be 9 planes - three at a time exploding over the Atlantic Ocean- nobody would know until they didn't get to their destination- the plane would just disappear off the radar.

Yes, the terrorists planned to attack flights leaving the UK bound for the US using liquid explosives. I haven't heard yet if they were planning it on the anniversary of 9-11, but there's always heightened terrorist chatter around the dates of past terrorist attacks anyway. I'll be checking my baggage rather than carrying it on when I fly to NYC on Saturday, since the TSA said they won't allow liquids or gels of any kind in carry-ons.

not sure of when but yes they were planning and are still planning various attacks against the US, Candad and parts of Europe.
