does this count as an inquiry towards your car insurance? You know, similar to when creditors run a credit check and that inquiry goes on your credit report? Also, what is it that cops/state troopers check when they run your registration through their computers?

his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of the law and please serious answers only!

y do volunteer firepeople who work for small towns think they should get away with getting tickents ! they think they r special. one got a ticket for goin to a cal goin 90 in a 25 and tried to fight it! a town of 500 people, very small only takes like 1 min to get thru it! quit wining and slow down!
would u have given him a ticket too!! Just because ur a fire guy doesnt mean u get away with goin that damn quick does it? I know not all firement or women r like that but seems to be in these small little towns! do you agree?

I have seen and heard of many corrupt cops, especially the community where I live at. Some are criminals, some are racist, and some are disrespectful. One time a police officer attacked an old woman with his taser because she wouldn't cooperate with him. She was hospitalized. Another time, live on the news in St. Louis, after a car chase involving a black male, 6 or 7 police officers beat him down after arresting him. The news chopper caught it all on tape. One police officer, a black one, even noticed the chopper and stopped attacking the suspect as soon as he noticed he was on TV. And, back in highschool, cops constantly harassed us. They saw someone like me, a smart young black male heading off to college, as a criminal. Even at court houses, you could see a whole line of black people trying to pay their tickets, but never see any white people. I also live next door to drug dealers who pay cops to get off their backs. Police corruption seems to be popping up everwhere.

I plan on taking criminal justice in college, but people tell me that a degree will not be enough to get accepted. Can anyone help me with this and please tell me any ways for a better chance to get accpeted?

Hi!

I am sure this is a joint operation between many different agencies, but I was wondering which agency (if any) is actually in-charge overall of anti-drug operations- especially concerning drugs that are being smuggled in by plane/boat through Florida?

Thanks in advance...

Are Van-jackings involving Attempted Murder investigated in the same manner as a Murder case?

If and when a vehicle is recovered doesn't the Tow Driver contact the Police, Registered Owner and Legal Owner?

Or did the "USED CAR DEALER?" contact the Tow Yard First?

WHY would athe USED CAR DEALER tell me I didn't need to go to DMV and file a "Transfer of Ownership" when he signed-o and gave me toff on the Pink Slip? and what documents would he

Why would the investigators leave valuable evidence (inside the van if they actually did a thorough investigation?

Would the agency that took the report divulge confidential information to someone calling to get a descrition of the perputrator so that he could go driving around the truck stop and to look for the assaliant? Do you really think he would have walked all the way back to Fresno from Compton? After all back then I might have remembered how he looked, but 10 years later, I'm not so sure. e perputrator so that he co

We send thousands of troops, tanks, aircraft, ships etc. to countries that harbour or train terrorists which costs the tax payer millions of pounds, yet when there's any terrorist threat in the U.K. what do we get, a flat footed bobby with a hand gun, half a dozen bullets in his a**e pocket, oh, and a black baseball hat.
Why? to keep a low profile in case they offend a passing immigrant I suppose.

I take lots of photos of my local area recording the changes. This could be suspect to those who don't know what I am doing. If one could register with with police and have a reference number this could be given to any police officer to check to confirm I am not breaking the law. The photos could be useful to police as well if a crime takes place in the area I have been photographing
