the investment was for the no# on a subway store it was suppose to happen within 6 weeks well it is now 6 months we signed and had a contract notorized that at any time i could ask for my money back well i have by mail and verbally and im getting the run a round what do i do i think it is called thieft by deception but now he is saying how rough he is having it before it was how much money he was making with the subway sandwich shops.he went to college for business i just know ive been taken advantage of by a white collar crime.

First check the small claims court limits in your area - you may be able to handle this yourself. If you can't, or if it's over the limit, get a lawyer and sue.

Call the police and report the scam. Give htem all the information you can. You may not get your money back, but at least you will get the information out that this is happening. You could take the person to court. Talk to a lawyer

actually normally if it is just a business deal gone bad,
So the police will have to investigate, but it is very, ( very) possible they will view it as merley a civil issue where you have to sue them for your money back.

If they can show he never intended to do any business, and he never did any business, But they have to show that at the time the contract was signed, he intended to cheat you, not only that he was a bad business person.
