How do I make pepper spray?

I would think there's a Little cooking involved guys! I'm not sure how they make the one on the market but taking some hot peppers boiling for about 1/2 an hour (till soft) Then drain off the water into a spray container. The pulp can be added to salsa or salad or what ever you want. How ever it will not keep for more than say a few days because it is after all food. should be kept in a refrigerator and will go moldy after about probably a week!

This is a very cheap and easy way to make pepper spray

equipment:
3- Scotch Bonnet Chile-----poke holes in pepper
3- Habanero Pepper-----poke holes in pepper
2- Cayenne Pepper-----poke holes in pepper
1 1/2 cup vinegar
1 cup- lemon juice
1- pair of tights
1- med mixing bowl/ jug
1- spray bottle



Take the jug and fill it up with vinegar and add chili powder,lemon

juice and mix, then put it in a pan and boil it for 30 minutes. Turn

on exhaust fan if in closed, fumes will chock you. This will take

all the water out the vinegar and the lemon juice and will make it

stronger!!! Then put the tights over the jug and put on plastic

gloves it will burn shin. Pour the liquid in the pan onto the tights

and this will take out all the thick pits that will clog up the

spray. Pour it into the spray bottle and leave it to stand for 24

hours. to make sure this works and very strong you "shack bottle or

spray every 15 minutes to cure the ingredient. when you use it make

sure before you pour it though the tights you leave it for about an

hour. keep shaken it every 15 Min's this will give it the best

affect when using it.

I am not sure how but i need some of that too. I am not that popular in school and im only 14 yet 18 year old guys like to pick on me. I wish i had one of those mini spray bottles. I also need the recipe for pepper spray.

Why would you want to? Just buy some. It's readily available and cheap. Any delivery system you make will probably not be nearly as effective as the commercial stuff, and probably not as powerful. It's illegal to use it except in self defense or in defense of a third party, and it can be very dangerous for someone with respiratory problems. It also hurts like hell if it blows back onto you or another person sprays you in a fight (had it happen to me more than once), so be careful.

pepper spray is actually a chemical called O.C. can remember what it stands for, but it enters you pours and contains a minute amount of real pepper oil. Consumer grade pepper spray is made with pepper oil, and OC is not sold to the public due to its potency, cg pepper spray is really weak in comparison, and does poorly to incapacitate an attacker you'd do better with a panic whistle lol j/k

take 10 jalepeno peppers, deseed and chop finely. Add to 150ml vegetable oil. And garlic and carse sea salt to taste and pour into a spray bottle.

Please note this can be used on both salads and on violent intruders and rioters

Mix rubbing alcohol and cayenne pepper powder, put into spray bottle. You can find all three necessary items at any grocery store.

on an old bottle or perfume spray, add luke-warm water and some really crushed peppers.
For higher effectiveness, add chili on it.
Now you're good to go.

Some of the answers attempted to explain but, I bought a small spray bottle at a sporting-goods store. The package says you can test fire it but, I kinda think it would leak out after one blast so, I only shake it to hear the juice inside and know it's ready to ruin a dog's day.

I don't have a formula. If you make your own, you'll have to put it in a container that is easy to carry and use. I think you're better off buying some.

You don't need Pepper Spray. Just carry a bag of dog poop on you and spread it all over your body when your gonna be attacked. They'll walk away.
