Court papers stated rent was due on a specific day. Tenant signed papers stating that they will pay by this day. They have failed to do so twice. Rent was paid 15 days late. Can a marshall still serve a warrant of eviction althought rent has been paid this late?

While at a Police Roadblock(they were searching for violent criminal)I was asked if I would consent to a search of vehicle(thought they meant the Trunk)They searched the trunk, found nothing,Then searche the rest of car, like they were looking for drugs...Now Ive always allowed a search of my vehicle when asked after being pulled over, because I never have anything to hide....So do I have to submit to a search or can I say no without getting into trouble?

I've got the cash, can spend up to $2,500 on him (I won it at a Casino last week). He probably won't use it much so it'll be more of a conversation piece. Plus, I'll probably get it when he passes away someday.

Should I consider a nice engraved double barrel? Or one of those Winchester "Cowboy" rifles? Maybe a pump shotgun...he does hunt goose once in a while. Then again, he is planning to go on an Elk hunt...maybe a nice .30-'06.

He's got all kinds of different guns, but this would be his second NEW one. The onter was his first .22 bolt action he got almost sixty years ago.

What are the suggestions?

When I got my traffic ticket in the mail the other day, my name was badly misspelled, to the point where it was hardly recognizable as my name. The address was mispelled also. Does that get me off the hook?

By that I mean, the Arizona Republic's research on tasers and how they've actually been linked/suspected to untimely passings in 94 cases nationwide.

If Tasers are so "safe," then why are people passing away from a so-called "non-lethal" device? Or are they now branding the Taser "less than lethal," which is like saying a knife or a rock is "less than lethal." Yeah, it might not cause death, but it sure isn't safe, either!

I live in the illinois suburbs, in a nice town. Our subdivision mainly is nice and quiet but at times we have people speeding down our street... we are the only street that cuts through 2 subdivisions and we have a park across the street so there are a lot of kids playing and people out and about... and many times at night and during the day people speed and there have been a few minor accidents... so i am trying to write a letter and get my street to sign it but i dont know who to adress it to and how to start it off.... i want to get a speed bump or to close the street off...ideas?

All we do is lock them up & then let them back out. I think we should concentrate on trying to rehabilitate these people so they won't re-offend.
Some basic suggestions of mine are more psychatric treatment & self-help asststance, so criminals such as theifs & burglars can learn how to live without stealing. And mental help for those who commit acts of violence or abuse. And better rehabiliation for drug addicts.

It's been over 11 years. I'm wondering if a SOL applies to this. Also, is there such things as amnesty in the courts for this sort of thing? BTW.. This is for California.
