As a retired veteran I pay $12 per office visit $3 per perscription and $25 a day for hospitilization...and I don't see why you people who haven't served deserve the same thing. Govt. HC is good, it works better than any other kind, but I DO deserve SOMETHING extra, don't I ?

I stole $1.257.86 worth of items from Kmart while i was employed there. When i was caught, my LP told me whatever items i returned, would be taken off the the cost of restitution. Not including the $200.00 maximum damages fee. i returned all items to the store, and i just received the restitution bill, and it said i owe $1.457.86. i dont understand this seeing as my LP told me the items i returned would be taken off the cost.

Earlier this afternoon, I played a game of pick-up hockey on a frozen pond with a bunch of kids I didn’t know. During the game, one of the opposing team’s players was skating up ice with his head down and I laid into him with my shoulder. The play resumed after the hit and I started to follow the play, when all of a sudden one of my teammates (presumably the injured player’s friend) sucker-punched me. I fell to the ice and then grappled with the guy for a while. Meanwhile, the player I hit was still down on the ice, lying unconscious. Being the nice guy that I am, I didn’t flee the scene. Rather, I stayed there to see if the injured player would regain consciousness. Bad move.

It has almost been 3 years now. I was in the army for almost 6 months before I decided to leave. I had a serious problem with gambling that was the main reason for leaving. Forget all the excuses though here is my dilemma. It has been 3 YEARS I have done everything from filing taxes every years to repaying a government debt because they paid me for two weeks pay after I left. I have bought a car a house and even been pulled over. I have got TWO speeding tickets one yesterday and I went to jail for being involved in a disorderly conduct scene at a bar during the summer. I called the GI rights hotline about 4 months ago and told them my story and they gave me a number to call to turn myself in. I called the number a sgt picked the phone up and I gave him all my information phone# social security # and my address told him what I did and asked him what he wanted me to do. When he input my social it returned that I was seperated in 2004???? I never got a discharge what is going on??????????

He gave me the car as a gift a year ago. He has stated in numerous emails and letters that it is a gift and I don't have to repay him. However he still has an outstanding loan on it and is now requesting I pay him for it or he will take it back. He holds the title to the car. I was not on the loan to purchase the car, but I am on the paperwork at the dealership in order for me to carry insurance on the car. He has given me all of the papers regarding the purchase as well. Do I have legal rights to the car? Does he have legal rights to take the car from me?

I found out that they are very inaccurate. They are known to say an air bag was deployed when one never was or they will say a car was doing 25 mph when they where going 75 mph, or 75 mph when they where doing 25 mph. usuley the first time they have errors is after routine maintenance like and oil change, transmission fluid change, a throttle adjustment or just about anything. why use this black box in court when there only correct 50% of the time.

I certainly do not agree with MPs giving themselves a pay rise at all, let alone above the rate of inflation as they intend to do when they have a high wage, a huge expense account & others such as nurses & the police have to struggle to get what has been promised.

The focus on guns in the Virginia Tech shootings has already sped to the front of issues.

Occasionally and not rushed to completion is the fact this man asked for mental health help and did not get it.

A news report showed an entire floor of inmates locked up indefinately in a Florida Jail with shortages of beds, running water and these men have not been charged. These conditions they were living in were sub human.

They are in for mental illness.

Florida has dedicated money to the separation of the mentally ill from the criminals.

I don't think that they should take guns from civilians because if they took the time to get a licenes or whatever, and only have it for protection, they're not going to hurt anybody.

The people we need to look out for are the people who got them illegally.

Taking them away is just going to make us worse off because we're going to have them to protect ourselves and the bad people are going to get them anyway.

I am new to the internet, and I have not been having much luck with search results, although I am trying to follow the guidelines. I get what I'm looking for only about 10% of the time.

My son tells me that due to its sunshine laws, public record searches in Florida are easy. Well, not for me. Can anyone help with this specific problem, and can I get some tips to get overall better search results?

Lawsuit to continue against West Chicago strip club linked to fatal crash
KANE COUNTY - A Kane County judge Friday declined to dismiss a lawsuit against a West Chicago strip club accused of allowing a drunken patron -- who later killed two people in a fiery crash -- to drive away.

Diamonds Gentleman Club, which does not serve liquor, shares responsibility for patrons who consume their own liquor there, Judge F. Keith Brown ruled. The club should have concluded that driver John Homatas would probably cause the 2004 accident because he was intoxicated, Brown wrote.

The club's owners argued it does not owe a special duty to customers.
Lawyers for the families of victims John Chiariello and April Simmons, who was pregnant, contend Diamonds encouraged Homatas to drink the liquor he and his friends brought.
They also gave him the keys to his valet-parked car after ejecting him from the club when he showed signs of intoxication.

Homatas, 26, of Wayne was convicted and sentenced in October to 12 years in prison for aggravated DUI and reckless homicide.
