its an on going issue, ill keep my status private, but does anyone know who downloads and who doesnt,.....do you?

I make sure my son has a supply of I-Tunes cards so he's not tempted to download illegally. He knows if he uses his computer for anything illegal that he will lose the privilege of having a computer.

Oh man, I don't know the percentage but many many people that I know dl off the computer. In the end, the outrageous fines are not worth the music. I would have to say 40-60% guess.

There must be a lot out there..I pay for a cetain site that me and my kids download from..I know that I downloaded some songs once from someplace advertising free downloads..But when I went to put them on my Ipod it wouldn't let me because I didnt have the license for those songs and it was for only a trial period and then I couldn't even play them on my pc..So I had to delete them..

Our local papers has had stories, about students at the local colleges, being fined $1000.00 or each illegal download. If my neighbor was fined for everyone that she has downloaded over the years, she would be paying dearly, and I mean Millions of Dollars. And she is no teenager!!

i think it get weighted heavily by age i used to d/l alot but as i got older i dont have the time to mess around like i used to however i would also buy if i thought the album was worth the money and hit the concerts and so on but kids with no jobs or money comin in i think are the biggest % of d/lers but then older people will most likely not deal with the hassle and just go blow the 15 bux
