You do not need Legal advice, No one cares. You are not worth the time and effort to prosecute.

Dont pay attention to people who quote the UCMJ. The US Army isnt going to execute anyone, and certainly isnt going to drag someone from their home for going AWOL.
If you are AWOL, dont get pulled over. If you already have been pulled over, and you arent flagged as AWOL, they discharged you. The same thing happened to me when I ran off - they just gave me a General Discharge.

Like any large governmental organization, they make mistakes, get their wires crossed and lose files. Continue to document everything. Talk to the ACLU. Some day they are going to figure out the glitch. If you have a file with the ACLU, perhaps you will not have to do jail time. Merry Christmas and may the Force continue to be with you.

I am in the Navy...just so you know...
You probably got what they call an administrative seperation. Just to close the case. if it says you were seperated they normally have a code behind your name to further explain the discharge but i believe you weren't in long enough. there is a time line where you can be charged or not but its not something that they really advertise for if everybody new about that we wouldn't have a mlitary anymore you know. i wouldn't worry about it. if they wanted you back they would have gotten you already.

Don't look a Gift Horse In The Mouth.
You've been given a chance to live your life. Their records show you where separated from the Army. It would be too much of a hassle to straighten out. Since they don't show you being AWOL, go live your life and be happy.

Don't know unless they haven't entered you yet as AWOL. Have you checked your credit reports to see if you are the victim of ID theft. Who knows. You might want to talk with an attorney. Do you have verification of who you talked to? Good luck and congratulations for turning your life around.

Maybe they figured you weren't worth their time. It is easier to separate somebody who's only been in a short time than it is to generate a bunch of paperwork and man hours trying to track him down, just so he can do some time in the brig. Count your blessings.

You need to get a lawyer.
If you think they won't eventually come after you, you are kidding yourself.
In the military handbook, and the UCMJ, you can be shot on sight.

I don't know how military law works, but I would be trying very hard to find a lawyer. Quickly.
