...to order materials for another location which does not have an agreement with the manufacturer? I used to work for a pipe fittings supply business and was required to order material for our other branches of the company because the manufacturer would not sell to those locations. We would order in material and ship it directly out again to those branches requesting the materials for customers who required this product line in accordance with city and county specs. Isn't this usually a violation of a manufacturer/distributor agreement?

The manufacturer already has distributors in these other locations. It is usually a matter of exclusivity in some of these other locations. The other distributor in those locations may complain, you see, as they are often promised exclusivity or exclusivity amongs a few distributors. It is a kind of oligopoly often.

I have been turned down for jobs I thought I should have won.
I know people are not supposed to be discriminated against for a misdemeanor but is it regularly done anyway?
My misdemeanor was not sex related, abuse of a person or what I would think would disqualify me.

... the lawyers in my town seem very relaxed and friendly. Even the ones who work in "unpleasant" fields such as family law (doing divorces, child support, etc.).

I live in a town of about 30,000 people. Are lawyers in small towns less prone to being stressed out and depressed?

Zeitgeist the movie is a exposition of the conspiracy ideas and subjects that control the United States and to a lesser extent surrounding nations. However, the ideas expressed within this video are not entirely new. I recall reading a book named "The Generals President" Which contained relations to plans layed out by founding banking forefathers the bind the world together through the manipulation of the economy. I was wondering if there are any other know examples of ideas displayed within Zeitgeist, the Movie that have been circulated?

I understand that this does not directly go with the "entrapment" definition. But i believe that the cop could be waiting for you to do something wrong. My buddy told me this and I do not believe it.

Say you are being sued for $100,000, and before any kind of settlement or court proceeding, you die, leaving behind money in excess of the $100,000 you are being sued.

If you have no survivors, what happens? Is it the responsiblity of whomever inherits your money to fight the case?

My ex, has a Order affecting the parent child relationship from Texas, I am and have always lived in California. 4 weeks ago she called me up and said she is fed up with him and he needed to come and live with me, this weekend. I bought a ticket, she told him you are going to live with your dad, and put him on a plane two days later. The call was on a friday and the flight was on a sunday. On that monday she went down and withdrew him from school. I now live in California with my son, what do I need to do to protect him and my rights, so she does not decide to come back whenever she feels like it and say send him back, I have an order. Do I have to hire a lawyer in Texas, or can I fight here in California?

My neighbor has a problem with her employer who takes all their tips (fastfood outlet). No employee is allowed to take any of the tips as he takes it all. He clear out the jar himself or expects them to record tips at the end of the day and give it to him (at register closing). He even takes all the credit card tips, they have never seen it. He uses the excuse that he will tip the staff that he feels deserve it. So far he has'nt given anyone any tips and they know he uses the tips to pay for their wages. Is this legal? What can they do? If they take the cash tips he tells them they are stealing. The previous manager tried to change the system and gave them their tips twice- he got fired! The owner just says that it is not their money, even if the customers put the tips in your hand, it is expected to put it in the jar. He has video cameras with video tapes and when not in the shop he will check the videos to see if any tips has been taken. ALL tips must go to him? Can he be stopped?

The summons claims the grandmother who is taking me to court, haves custody, but the child STILL lives with the mother which I know for a fact. Can she, actually the grandmother do this?

Too many people judge.
I'm not saying you should make exscuses or exscuse the rapists, murders, robbers, and other criminals because you shouldn't.
I myself am a victim of rape.
I know how it feels even after it's over.
it's wrong to profile them.
I do believe some people go crazy or are demonically possessed.

I think Yahoo answers/questions is a great way to inform people.
I'm not really asking a question.
I'm just passing along a message.
