My wife got a phone call from a man saying he was with David Gillette and Tracey Paul law firm asking about a possible family member. Their out of Salt Lake City halfway across the country and I found nothing but some blogs about them. Does anyone really know if this is for real and if they could find her number why wouldn't their "investagators" find who their really looking for.

If it matters, the child is 14 months, the victim is 18, and the offender is 36. The offender married another woman almost a year ago. The woman he married has a 5 yo and is 5 mos pregnant with the offenders child. The case has not gone to court, but since the offender was the victim's teacher and there is TONS of evidence, the DA has said publicly it is a slam dunk case.

I got charged with 2nd degree test refusal and 3rd degree DUI the other day and they seized my car with the intent to forfeit it. How do I get it back??? It's really only my 2nd DUI, I got my first one in 2005 when I just turned 21. But they are acting like it's my 3rd because I didn't take the test. And I didn't take the test because I was scared to get a 2nd DUI. They told me it was a crime to not take the test, but didn't bother to tell me that it's a BIGGER crime then the DUI itself, and would actually end up being charged with 2 things!!!
I have a public defender, but he can't do the civil part of the case ( the car). If I hire a private attorney, they can, but I'm a new mom and don't have the money. There's also a loan out on the car, so they wouldn't make much money.

He was found guilty of 4 out of 6 charges and got 8 yrs. 5 years was for a felony for terroristic threats of which he said he never did. He rearended a harley when the harley driver slammed on brakes infront of him while he was fixing to make a left turn. The harley driver then got off the bike and reached inside his car and punched him so he backed up and rammed into someone behind him trying to flee and then ran over the bike and went home. The cops came almost 5 hrs later and by that time he was drunk and registered a .08.... So, he got 1 year for dui and 1 year for improper backing and 1 year for fleeing the accident without returning. He wants to get out of prison on a Habeous Corpus and would like to know about how to do so. Is there anyone that can offer any help to tell me how he can do so and then I can write him and let him know? Please help, this is a really nice guy and my friend and I really want to help him. Thank You for your help..

I find that really annoying and disrespectful of others because I wouldn't just go and park my car in other people's parking stall, so I don't understand why she can't give me the same kind of respect?? What do you think I can do about it?? Do you think she is wrong and disrespectful of others?? And is she doing that on purpose or what??

I have had it with Yahoo stupidity in not able to understand a simple problem. How can a customer doesn't receive enough information on an invoice and the company representitives who do not understand simple english let alone able to respond with a proper answer. This is the last time I will order anything on line especially with Yahoo involved. I ordered the products from Diamond Walnut website and will report the hassel I have gone thru because they will listen to me. I have spent 3 hours being hasseled by your company making a mistake when a simple 2 minuted phone call would have solved the problem

About 10 days ago I went to a very popular Fast Food chain and ordered my food. Once they brought my food to the car they forgot one item... so I explained that I'd be more than happy to pay for the missing item but I definitely need it before I leave (yes, I was being nice).

She brought the food back to me but she was acting funny. I thought maybe I was just being paranoid for no reason. I went home and I started to eat. Next thing I know, as I was half way done with my meal, there was a Pubic Hair in my food. Oddly enough - I actually stopped eating because my food tasted different than it usually does. I do eat there a lot...

Now I was REALLY "po'd" but instead of going to the place and probably being escorted off the premises by cops - I decided to call their number (corporate). They took my info and the manager of the store called me back but 10 days later he has failed to contact me back. He didn't apologize either. He wasn't there, supposedly.

I hate lawsuits but what to do?

My girlfriend was attacked by a pitbull which broke her arm biting into the bone and locking on. there were two other dogs that luckily were stopped from attacking her also yet one did get ahold of her other arm, biting it and leaving puncture wounds. The renter is her friend yet someone should be held responsible. Would it be the renter or the homeowner. we live in California.

My bf is being laid off at the end of January 2008. The company has offered to pay him extra severence $$ if he will sign a non-compete agreement on January 31 (on his official termination date). My question is, is that even legal? sounds fishy to me. We will plan to contact our attorney, but thought I would ask to see if someone might know.

I was with my cousins at a popular city park at peak tourist season. My uncle tends to say the most obvious things. He noticed a couple of Muslim families nearby who looked like tourists. He announced 'there's a lot of tourists here.' The Muslim families heard his comment and thought he said 'terrorists' So thinking they were being discriminated against, they called the police. My uncle was charged for shouting racist insults. We tried to convince the TOURISTS but they didn't understand what had really occurred. The police officer didn't believe us.
