A lot of legislation in California over the past several years, but particularly the last four is based on comic-book science. That is it is fantasy "science" below the Jr. High School level or worse. Like nor knowing the difference between a change of state and a chemical reaction. One law actually defines the sublimation of "dry ice" as a chemical reaction.

I guess we shouldn't be surprised what with having a cartoon for a governor and all.

This man shot and killed two thieves. I commend him on the fact that he was protecting his neighborhood and he kept 2 out of the system that we as taxpayers would have had to support.

If I could pin a medal on this man I would.

There are some that say what he did was wrong and there are some that say what he did was just

what do you think?

If you want other links type in Joe Horn shot in the search box.

Those pedofile sting operations, like on TV, they usually use a 30 year old woman or even a man to entice someone by pretending to be a pre-teen. Well, then they get them to come to a place, thinking they are meeting a young girl or boy. Well, if they actually had sex with the 30 year old, it wouldn't be illegal. So, what do they prosecute them for? Does the law say that thinking you might do something wrong is punishable? Are bad thoughts illegal?

instead of stopping the attack, according to the news.

(Teen rapist says she gave consent sometime before she passed out so there was no rape, btw).

Then a father called the station to say his daughter was gang raped just last week, also with witnesses (besides the other participants) who did nothing to stop it.

The police only want to charge the witnesses with pornography. Radio host wants them all charged with being accessories to first degree rape.

Opinions?

Nothing, no masturbation, no intercourse. NOTHING!!! For nine months. Let's legislate laws so that the government can control men's reproductive organs.

I AM GREAT AT MATH. TOOK YEARS OF ACCOUNTING IN COLLEGE. IN THE EXPENSE ACCOUNT YOU HAVE PAYROLL.RIGHT.NOW IN PAYROLL ACCOUNT YOU HAVE TO HAVE NAMES AND PAY SOCIAL SECURITY AND OTHER TAXES. RIGHT. SO HOW DO EMPLOYER GET AWAY EXPENSING ALL THIS MONEY ON PAYROLL ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. FEDRAL LAW STATES THAT ANY ONE HIRING AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT IS SUBJECT TO A 1000 DOLLAR FINE PER IMMIGRANT. THE EVIDENCE MUST BE ON THE PAPER TRAIL NOW NO EMPLOYER IN THE U.S. HAS EVER BEEN FINED . DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENCE. HOW CAN YOU EXPENSE THIS OUT ON 50 EMPLOYEES. ITS IMPOSSIABLE UNLESS SOME ONE IS LOOKING THE OTHER WAY

We inherited a trailer in a park. We now pay monthly rent on the space. We are trying to sell the trailer. They claim before we can sell the trailer on their sport, we have to replace most of the siding damaged by termites. Wouldn't the termites (That came from the ground) be their responsibility, and hence their obligation to repair the damage?

My green card was thrown away by someone else by accident, and the thing is I just received it and haven't gotten a chance to open a bank account and get driver license. Don't have a passport, only social security. Called Citizenship and Immigration services and they said replacement will take awhile, they are shorthanded and just serving requests from November, 2006. So it's going to get a year to get it, I can't afford not being to work, have a car and bank account or anything else!

Now I have researched that they can put a stamp "temporary evidence" that you are a permanent resident in your passport while they do a replacement, but I don't have a passport! How do I get around this? Since I came to US before I was 18 I only have social security and birth certificate. Can they do standalone document of some sort just for this purpose, temporary evidence so I can actually live and do something.

I was given an old photograph by a family friend that has since passed away with no remaining family. I have had several offers to buy copies of the photo. I know I cannot copyright the photo, but can I legally put the copyright symbol (the "c" with a circle around it) on the photo as if I had. I know it would not hold up in court, but would act as some deterance to someone considering making their own copies. I don't want to copyright the photo, I just want to put the symbol on the photo as if I had.

Please read the details. None of the answers I got the first time I posted this question were even applicable
