This man shot and killed two thieves. I commend him on the fact that he was protecting his neighborhood and he kept 2 out of the system that we as taxpayers would have had to support.

If I could pin a medal on this man I would.

There are some that say what he did was wrong and there are some that say what he did was just

what do you think?

Number one-they stole belongings. They never threatened anyone's life. Number two-they were outside of the house.
It's against the law to shoot somone when they have left the premises. I've been told that by the police. Two men were killed because they stole "things". They may be criminals, but criminals have families too. The police told the man not to go outside and he clearly disregarded their orders. If we all set ourselves up as judge, jury and executioner-we'd have chaos. It's bad enough as it is without law abiding people stepping over the line.

Although most people dislike me for it, I am a supporter of vigilante justice. The government is not doing a good job at punishing criminals and preventing crimes from occuring. In addition, the majority of the population are a bunch of criminal-loving, sanctimonious selfish "moral" zealots who delude themselves into believing that rapists, murderers, armed robbers and child-molestors deserve the same rights we have.

Well screw that. FYI, criminals who need organ transplants are twice as likely to get one in contrast with an average tax-paying American.

He was on the phone with the cops while he was loading and cocking his gun. The cops pleaded with him not to go outside for his own safety and not to shoot that gun. The man behaved very irresponsibly and most likely provoked the bad guys. Even so, he broke the law. He was not, apparently, defending his own property since the bad guys were doing a number on the neighbor's place. I would have to hear more from him and more from the police before I'd be able to pass judgment; but on the surface I think he was in the wrong.

unfortunately under most laws and statutes protecting oneself and those around him usually pertains to family. Was he the victim of the crime if yes then I say no he should not be charged if not and he was being a vigilante then yes to the fullest extent because we can not have people out there taking the law into their own hands. From the article it was not his house and he was not in danger so sad to say he will be charged and probably convicted.

Unfortuantely, those two thieves were only "attempting". Not even able to call them intrusion. At most they were conspiracy.

Hence, that man pulled his trigger too early and would be persecuted with "Manslaughter I". He should wait for minutes until those two thieves were acutally broken-in.
