I sent a package Via Priority Mail about a month ago and it contained expensive shoes. It was my first time sending something through USPS. And it still hasnt arrived to its destination. I called the Main Office and they told me if the package is lost their is nothing they can do about it without a tracking number or Insurnace. Can i sue them because i was never infromed about their policy. If i had known about the tracking number and insurance i wouldve purchased it. Can i sue them for that? If not, who can i talk to about this issue?

It lists every occurrence (late arrrivals, unscheduled absences, leaving early, and my maternity leave. Should my maternity leave be listed with the occurrences that resulted in my termination? The church actually has insurance policies to protect it against the kinds of law suits. The leadership has knowingly moved active pediphiles to different parishes, they deny, deny and dny, while behind closed doors, they openly discuss the issues brought about by this a-moral behavior. I bet that there will be someone who responds this post that will condone the behavior and make an excuse for their lack of interest in protecting our children.

Working for a very large mining Co, I know that all mining Co's just want to rip everything out of the ground and not value add in any way in Australia. Everyone knows we can't compete on finished product but if all bauxite, iron ore, nickle ore etc was just value added to steel, aluminium etc, Our problem wouldn't be unemployment but employment and that's the sign of a booming economy. BHP is trying to find a way out of value adding at the Olympic Dam project and we only hear of the SA Gov't opposing them. Where's JH? China's long term plans are finished product, so we should be taking advantage of that and working with Chinese companies to establish steel mills, aluminium smelters etc. We have proven that we can be more than competitive in this area, so why hasnt either party done something about it. We would also be ensuring that these processes are done with much less impact on the environment.

I have a question that is sort of complicated. I have asked it several times but have not gotten very good answers. I have always loved the law and have always wanted to be a lawyer. I live in Mississippi and am going to the University of MS (Ole Miss) law school next year.

I went to Millsaps and made A's so I am fairly confident in my ability to do well in law school (not that undergrad is comparable, but I am willing to work). I always hear people say that if you don't go to a "top tier" school and graduate in the "25th percentile" then you are screwed. But when I get out I actually would like to work in a "small" firm in MS with just a few lawyers. I also do not expect that great of a paycheck (55K or somewhere in that area).

I am asking this question because Ole Miss is obviously not a top tier law school, although it is well respected within the state. If I make "good" grades, will I be able to get a decent job with a small firm?

I moved into a new town not far from my old one. I decided to use the Pharmacy near me. When I got my medicine I noticed that they were white instead of blue. I assumed that it was just because it was a diff brand name
Later I found out that they gave me the wrong meds. I called them and they refuse to admit the mistake and to make it right.
Who can I reprot them to besides the BBB?

I was suposed to pick my child up this last part of the week, and I told my ex she can have my child for Thanksgiving day , she erfused, and told me she would be taking off out of town , which on the court order said she cannot. Suposedly she told her atorney ad the attorney said it was ok. I have met my real dad twice in my life. I have been told that he had never payed any child support, and when my mom remarried-he was about to give the money but my step dad said that he didn't want his "drug money". I am 20 now and find myself at financial hard times.

My question is: Can i approach my real dad and ask him for money relating to unpaid child support? If so, how much can I ask for? Does anyone think I will get any money?

Please help me.....

£1000 in arrears. I made it only £300. Got a Court summons for a liability Order for £1000. Outside Court the CSA rep approached me and asked me to agree to the order. I said no. She was full of sympathy for me and promised to tell the magistrates my side. In Court she just tried to shaft me. The magistrates only looked at my evidence when I begged them to. They then agreed that the CSA figures were wrong and made the Liability order for £300. They said I could pay it at £50 per month. After 3 months all paid up, a bailiff knocked on my door with a cannon ball and demanded the whole £300 or he would return in a week and take my stuff.
I called the CSA and they just said they wanted it all at once and would not discuss the Court order.
I then got a letter from them demanding the other £700 or they would apply for a liability order. Again they would not discuss that the Court ruled against them. So now I have to play hide from the bailiffs & back to Court we go.

My son is 9, his biological father makes no attempt to be part of his life. He may see him by chance once a year. He currently lives 10 minutes away and it is local to call--still nothing. My husband and I have been together since my son was 9 months old, married for 3 1/2 years of that time. My son calls him "Dad" by choice. My husband has become financially responsible for my son, we do not rely on child support--only recieved a few times a year. I don't think his biological father would care to terminate as he has 2 other children and only cares for 1 of 3.

Does anyone know what actions need to be taken to get the process started and how much it may cost?
