£1000 in arrears. I made it only £300. Got a Court summons for a liability Order for £1000. Outside Court the CSA rep approached me and asked me to agree to the order. I said no. She was full of sympathy for me and promised to tell the magistrates my side. In Court she just tried to shaft me. The magistrates only looked at my evidence when I begged them to. They then agreed that the CSA figures were wrong and made the Liability order for £300. They said I could pay it at £50 per month. After 3 months all paid up, a bailiff knocked on my door with a cannon ball and demanded the whole £300 or he would return in a week and take my stuff.
I called the CSA and they just said they wanted it all at once and would not discuss the Court order.
I then got a letter from them demanding the other £700 or they would apply for a liability order. Again they would not discuss that the Court ruled against them. So now I have to play hide from the bailiffs & back to Court we go.

The CSA are a s s holes. But they can't dismiss the court order can they. Go to the court and tell them what is happening and if the CSA can do that.
They need to change the CSA they are c r a p. They have never bothered getting child support for my 15 year old, and they know all his dads details, I have been waiting 15 years

Contact the court, they should be able to help - at least you are paying for your child, my man paid for several years for a child that was not his - he went for the DNA but she didn't, later she was done for fraud as the child wasn't even staying with her, partner never got all the money back just the last few months. 12 years ago when my then husband left I never got a penny - by the time I got the divorce there was £8000outstanding, I signed it all away to get the divorce as daughter was now older with her own kids. He still fighting with CSA to get the money back that he paid to me? what money I never got a penny.

See Citizens Advice. The problem with all large companies civil servant departments and local councils is that you can not find anyone who is responsible for anything beyond drawing their pay. It is not the fault of those you talk to, it's just that the whole lot is overwhelmed with too many managers and rules.

I suggest you also see your MP
