Ok I gave my DAD 1400 to buy me this cavalier.
Ok I got the car, and keys, but I have been waiting on the bill of sale for WAY TOO LONG. He keeps changing his story!!
First he told me he had it in his car, but never dropped it off.. Now he said its in the truck he sold to my mom, but its SOOO not!
I knew he had a tendency to ripping people off, but I never thought he would do it to me!
Now Im guessing im not getting the Bill of sale. I cant drive this car or get it registered its just sitting there. What can I do, I want MY MONEY, or something bad I know will happen, Because he's getting my husband angry, and me too. I don't want anything bad to happen. Is there any legal action I can take. I mean I dont have the money for a lawyer. And I NEED a car. Im an idiot, but hes supposed to be the man that raised me... I don't know what to do. But I need to do it quick!

My apartment requires 60 days notice of intent to vacate before the lease expires, otherwise, the lease automatically renews at a high monthly rate!

I feel royally screwed by the fine print.

If someone in your company secretly promoted an individual (including sending them to training) before they even posted the new position whilst not giving others the opportunity to apply for it, is it against the law?
I know it is with federal employment, but what about private companies?

I'm a legally emancipated 15 year old and I have a few guys that I've been seeing that are in their 20's. Can they get in trouble for having sex with me? My parents can't have them arrested because I'm emancipated and I wouldn't do that to them either. Is there any other way they could get in trouble or are they legally safe?

My friend and I invented a cardgame that is pretty original, and now it is starting to spread. It is being played in multiple states. I was just wondering how to copyright this game, the rules, etc., or if that is even the correct course of action to take. Even if it is not advisable, I'd like to do something like it anyway, just for fun (if nothing else). As a gift to the co-creator, or just to hang on my wall. Any ideas?

I was caught with about 1/4 of a spliff in a matchbox whilst sitting in a car talking to a friend. I'm 25 and had never been in trouble with the police in my life. Not even a speeding ticket.

Wasn't taken to the station or had fingerprints taken, just asked to sign a piece of paper and sent on my way.

I was hit by someone running a red light. Major damage of my vehicle. Both airbags went off but both inside were injured and taken to hosp. After reporting the accident, I was called by my ins co., Nationwide, and was told by assigned agent and confirmed by personal agency, to deal directly with the at-faults insurance company-State Farm? I have always been told not to give info to the other. State Farm has already admitted fault. Also, any quidelines in asking for reinbursment for pain/suffering/loss wages etc. any adive is welcome. Should I speak with a lawyer - if so, when?

I typed up a letter and sent it certified to them to cease calling my home about my aunt's debt. They continue to call me anyway even though they acknowledge they received my letter. About four years ago, I hired a photographer to take photos of my art. Now the photos are on her website with her copyright blazing across them. I don't think I'd mind if she gave me credit as the artist, but nowhere is my name mentioned. I've no doubt this is unethical if not illegal. Does anyone know what I can do about it? Thank you!

a change in rules: we are now told that regardless of our beliefs they will simply TAKE our organs unless we opt out. is anyone else taking a moral stand here and tearing up their doner card and making the effort to opt out. perhaps if they offered to pay for funeral expenses but that would be wrong, wouldnt it? its ok to take organs but not to sell them? i hate everything about this country. except samantha janus.

has anyone ever had an agency refuse to respond?I've been trying to recieve info from the Omaha Police Department for over a year.I know that I am entitled to the requested info and that they in fact have it.I sent them several letters of request but, they didn't respond until I sent the F.O.I.A form letter. At first they acted like they would help but, they eventually blew me off and said"they have murders and stuff to worry about"
In other words I guess I need to know how to force them to comply. Thanks for those of you with Real Knowledge of this situation that can help.
