I would never do such thing. Someone n my class said she would do that and "get away with it" because frogs aren't "conventional pets". Is this true, or the law applies to any animal (even ones that aren't pets or ones in zoos)?

Tell me- is your District Attorney's Office doing what you feel is enough for what your tax dollars are paying for? Have you needed or even asked your district attorney's office for legal advise when you needed it? Are you aware that you are intitled to all the free lagal advise, as long as you pay taxes in the state of California? Please let me know, because of the legal system, I am requesting that you go through Yahoo. Thanks, this information will not only help with my particular case, but thousands of others. If you have an immediate case, I will leave my referrals with Yahoo. Thanks for your input regarding this matter.

Ok two days before, I made a paypal account and gave them the bank info they needed. they say to wait 3-5 days for them to make two small deposits. then two days later, my acocunt is suddenly frozen and I have no idea why. In this email I got, it quotes:

"PayPal as a regulated financial services company is required under law to assess its customers against certain lists of individuals and entities which have had sanctions imposed against them. PayPal as a financial institution is required to comply with these regulations in multiple jurisdictions where we do business.

Where a potential name match is identified, PayPal's policy is to lock the account and request further identifying documentation. The decision to lock your account has been taken solely by PayPal in line with its compliance policy in regards to the legislation covering financial sanctions"

What does this all mean? What has happened within my account? And how do I fix it??

I have pulled teeth for two years trying to get child support enforcement to do SOMETHING to get my ex husband to pay child support. I can't go to another office because they must do it in the county that HE lives in. CSE told me to get his address, and they can issue him a sopoena for court. I give them his address, but they won't do anything because his name is not on the lease. I cannot hire a lawyer, because (surprise) I have no money! It was suggested to me by a friend to go to the local news with it, but they do not want to do a story on how Dougherty county child support enforcement won't do their job. I am at my wit's end. I feel like my kids and I are just at the fringes of society, people that nobody cares about. I feel like we are second class citizens. I can't go to support kids because they will take 34% of any money we get, and we need ALL of it. I'm in school, trying to pave away for us. He is about ten grand behind, and we are really desperate.

Because if I make it through everything as far as testing goes, I will need to have at least a couple of weeks, to see my father and elderly grandparents (god forbid) something was to happen to them? And if I cant get in owing money to the court system, why is the recruiter wasting his and my time by proceeding with the tedious process and paperwork, he is well aware of my situation, and seems to not be worried about it. What gives? lol. Some say yeah, some say nay, does anyone SERIOUSLY know the answer to these questions? Im an all or nothing type, and before investing all my hope, talent, and ambition into this, I need to know if its even worth it, or if I should just walk away to save countless hours of pointless preparation. If your a recruiter, or an army soldier who HONESTLY knows the answers, I would be truly, sincerely obliged.

All the time and money wasted in a long custody battle.

Can be as easy as the Judge asking the kid which parent do you want to live with? They pick. Done

I'll try to make this short. We were buying a house to rent, with no contract, only receipts saying the balance. The owner kept saying he would get a contract but never did. We have no contract or lease. Anyway he raised the rent from 400.00 to 500.00 and said if we can't afford it to move out. So we are moving out. How long legally do we have to move out? We live in Illinois. No eviction notice either, not as of yet. He will also keep our deposit. Can anyone tell me how long? Thank-you...Dianne

If someone is in there home, smoking marijuana why should he or she be arrested? They arn't doing anything. All arresting them will do is give them a record making thier life difficult and cost them money. If a group of friends who are 18 want to get together and have some beers and chill, why should they have to pay a fine and lose thier liscense? It is pretty unethical to me that the government would ruin peoples lifes for doing something that effects no one but themselves.

The United States is the only "western" country to have it's drinking age at 21 and one of the only ones in the world that has an age limit that high. It's pretty absured that at age 16 people are treated as adults under penalty of law, then when they are 18 can be drafted but still cannot drink. When I go to Quebec in a few months, I am gonna go to bars and party but when I come back to the U.S. I'd be doing something bad. It's a mess.

My grandma and granddaddy gave my mom a bedroom suite belonging to my grandaddy's mother over 10 years ago. They brought it to her house and dropped it off, saying they knew it would be taken care of. My granddaddy had a stroke 6 months ago. My grandma and mom got into an argument resulting in grandma and my mom not talking. My grandma has sent a note saying she wants the furniture back or she is taking a warrant out on my mom. If there is anyone with a legal background, what can be done? If the furniture has to be returned is there anything wrong with asking for storage fees for the last 10 years?? Any help is appreciated!
