I have seen small signs for local busineses (like credit repair call this number etc.) posted on telephone poles etc.from time to time. I'd like to advertise my business this way as long as I'm not likely to get fined. How about sticking small signs into the ground on public property at intersections etc. like the politician do? Is this allowable to do?
Thanks for your advice.

Is a contract enforceable (i.e. is there consideration) if either party is allowed in the contract to terminate at any time, with or without reason, and without providing the other party with notice of termination in advance of the cancellation. I believe you must have notice of termination for the contract to be enforceable, but can anyone provide with a link to a site or case that proves this?

I went to lodge an F.I.R. at a police station in Delhi, my application was received and they started asking me strange questions. Since it was against the doctors of a local hospital for illegal detention, the threatened to detain me themselves saying that, they need to hand me over to somebody. Finally the registere the FIR and took my signature on it also but didn't give me a copy of the same. They said that they will investigate the case. They merely gave me a copy of my application. What are my rights? How can I claim the copy of the FIR from them. Can they withhold it on the pretext of investigation. They police seem to be hands in glove with the hospital Can comlainant interact directly with the public prosecutor and discuss his case. Does the FIR imply that the case will be automatically listed in a court? Please help.

My son and I are struggling and his father who lives in California sends child support finally after 9 years of denying my child. My son is 14 now and did not meet his grandfather and he recently died. Does my son's fathers inheritance trickle down to my son? I'd like to set up a college fund for him.

I have asked the data controller twice for information but he has not replied. I have complained to informtion commissioner who has said that the have not complied. My question given that the data is needed to defend myself a lot of hurt has been caused by not recieving the info. Can I take out a private prosecutuion for damages against the company's data controller? Will keep you all posted of out come. Thanks

ok so i have a friend. she was raped when she was 14. she is 17 now so it was pretty much 3 years ago. She said that she didn't go to the police because she was young and confused. her "friends" weren't there for her and her parents were out of town at the time it happened so she didn't really have anyone to really talked to. she ended up having a mis-carriage and went to the hospital. this also happened to 3 other of her friends who claim that same guy rape them. her main purpose to put this guy behind bars because she doesn't want this happen to any other girl. What are some of her options as of right now? can they build a strong case if all the girls came forward?

"As for the prospect of displacing businesses along Industrial, that isn't necessarily a bad thing" Mr. Loza said.
Dallas is discussing building another tollway either in a recently restored park that cost millions or by removing two very used free streets and displacing the business. The city as mentioned above expresses its lack of sentiment for small business owners and the people who live in that area. Saying basically that they, the business owners and employees will not be missed!
Is this justified behavior for a city, is there a city out there that is worse than Dallas or is the City of Dallas the worst local government.

We talked about 1.5 weeks ago then through 1 email then they stopped responding to me. Can they send me to collections before we are finished talking, I read some place that they can't since I contacted them well before the 10 day limit they gave before sending to collections. Not sure how valid it was though.

Main issue is they claim I owe money I said I'd pay if if they gave some information to me, I asked for info in 2 emails and they wouldn't respond. I talked in person, on phone with their law dept and in email before they cut me off.

thanks

I'm looking into a legal separation with my spouse, and am wondering if we can write our own contract instead of going through lawyers and the system.
We could easily make such a contract now and agree on the terms, but I want to make sure such a contract would be binding in the future. Is this possible? Thanks.

It's Ken Livingstone's (Mayor of London) latest move to relieve traffic congestion.
We all know that he's friendly with the IRA.
We know he's friendly with Libyan Bombers.
We all know that he hates the Middle-Class:
And all the cars that have been blown up are MIDDLE-CLASS GAS GUZZLERS.

I think he's got a bunch of bitter and twisted Traffic Wardens (not hard to find) and they sneak about the place, targetting Toffee-nosed Middle-Class school-run Mums in "Chelsea Tractors"
What do you think?
BTW just got a violation for the Israeli car-bomb joke!

Where I live, it is the law that you have to own a gun. In a city in Vermont, it is illegal to own a gun. That city in Vermont has a high crime rate. Where I live, we have one of the lowest crime rates in the country. In my opinion, I think it is great to be required to have a gun. Also, I love deer hunting and just shooting guns in general at the shooting range.

So, what is your opinion and why?

btw, this isn't my homework, I really want to know some other viewpoints.

I allowed a loser to move in with me because they needed a place to stay. It was not for free, he agreed to help me with bills and rent. However, he quit his job, and is now expecting me to take care of everything under the sun. I WANT HIM OUT OF MY HOUSE IMMEDIATELY.

Aside from changing my locks which I plan to do tomorrow morning, how can I legally get him out of my house without any negative ramifications (for me). He threatens me by telling me that Georgia law states I can not just put him out. And now, the days are rolling by and he thinks he has it made because the law is on his side.

I live in Atlanta Ga. In an apartment which has MY name on the lease. I just want him to get his things and go. Should I get the police involved? I want it to be as drama free as possible but because he is has no where else to go, he will try to find a reason to make me his permanent couch sponsor. Can some one please help me with some LEGAL advice? Thank you so much.
